Die Arbeitsweise, das Material, das Medium, die Formsprache oder der Ansatz öffnen in jedem künstlerischen Werk einen ganzen Kosmos. Künstlerinnen und Künstler verfolgen individuelle Strategien, beanspruchen Themen für sich oder arbeiten sich daran ab. Daraus entstehen fantastische, persönliche, manchmal auch bedrückende Welten, die so reichhaltig und ergiebig sind, dass sie eine enorme künstlerische Energie freisetzen. Die Sammlung verbindet diese individuellen Welten zu einem Ganzen, schärft oder vertieft einzelne Themen und ordnet sie nach ihren Regeln.
Die Sammlungsausstellung gibt intime Einblicke in private Räume, in Fantasie- und Traumwelten, lässt sich ein auf künstlerische Obsessionen und die scheinbar banale Ästhetik des Repetitiven und Systematischen. Der Mikrokosmos steht dem Makrokosmos gegenüber, der Körper dem Objekt und die Intimität dem Öffentlichen. Um die Welten mit ihren Gesetzmässigkeiten und Ordnungen sichtbar zu machen, widmen sich die Räume jeweils einzelnen Arbeiten und grösseren Werkgruppen von ausgewählten Künstlerinnen und Künstlern.

La méthode de travail, le matériau, le médium, le langage formel ou l'approche ouvrent tout un cosmos dans chaque œuvre artistique. Les artistes poursuivent des stratégies individuelles, revendiquent des thèmes pour eux-mêmes ou s'en inspirent. Il en résulte des mondes fantastiques, personnels, parfois oppressants, si riches et fertiles qu'ils libèrent une énorme énergie artistique. La collection relie ces mondes individuels en un tout, aiguise ou approfondit certains thèmes et les ordonne selon ses règles.
L'exposition de la collection donne des aperçus intimes d'espaces privés, de mondes imaginaires et oniriques, se laisse aller à des obsessions artistiques et à l'esthétique apparemment banale du répétitif et du systématique. Le microcosme s'oppose au macrocosme, le corps à l'objet et l'intimité au public. Afin de rendre visibles les mondes avec leurs régularités et leurs ordres, les salles se consacrent chacune à des travaux individuels et à des groupes d'œuvres plus importants d'artistes sélectionnés.

Il metodo di lavoro, il materiale, il mezzo, il linguaggio formale o l'approccio aprono un intero cosmo in ogni lavoro artistico. Gli artisti perseguono strategie individuali, rivendicano temi per se stessi o lavorano attraverso di essi. Questo dà origine a mondi fantastici, personali, a volte oppressivi, così ricchi e produttivi da liberare un'enorme energia artistica. La collezione combina questi mondi individuali in un tutto, affina o approfondisce i singoli temi e li dispone secondo le loro regole.
La mostra della collezione fornisce intuizioni intime in spazi privati, in mondi di fantasia e sogno, si impegna con ossessioni artistiche e l'estetica apparentemente banale del ripetitivo e sistematico. Il microcosmo è giustapposto al macrocosmo, il corpo all'oggetto e l'intimità al pubblico. Per rendere visibili i mondi con le loro regolarità e i loro ordini, le stanze sono dedicate ciascuna a opere individuali e a gruppi più grandi di opere di artisti selezionati.

The working method, the material, the medium, the formal language or the approach open up a whole cosmos in every artistic work. Artists pursue individual strategies, claim themes for themselves or work their way through them. This gives rise to fantastic, personal, sometimes oppressive worlds that are so rich and productive that they release enormous artistic energy. The collection combines these individual worlds into a whole, sharpening or deepening individual themes and arranging them according to their rules.
The collection exhibition provides intimate insights into private spaces, into fantasy and dream worlds, engages with artistic obsessions and the seemingly banal aesthetics of the repetitive and systematic. The microcosm is juxtaposed with the macrocosm, the body with the object, and intimacy with the public. In order to make the worlds with their regularities and orders visible, the rooms are each dedicated to individual works and larger groups of works by selected artists.
