ARMENIEN, Jahr Null ist das Ergebnis einer fotografischen Arbeit, die sich in acht Reisen zwischen 2015 und 2018 niederschlug, während denen der Fotograf Armenier und Armenierinnen begegnete.
Drei Umwälzungen prägten das Jahr 1988 und führten zu einem Bruch im Leben der Armenierinnen und Armenier.

Für diese Samstagsbegegnung schlagen wir die Entdeckung eines jungen und einzigartigen Verlagshauses vor, mit Patrick ROLLIER, dem Gründer von Éditions d'une rive à l'autre.
Dieser direkte Austausch mit Patrick ROLLIER soll uns mehr über die Arbeit eines Verlegers, die künstlerischen Entscheidungen und die eingesetzten Techniken im Dienste des Anliegens, der Verbindung zwischen Text und Bild, vermitteln. In einer Zeit, in der entmaterialisierte Bilder massenhaft produziert werden, erinnert die Materialität der Fotografie an ihre Bedeutung. ARMÉNIE, année zéro est le résultat d’un travail photographique qui s’est traduit par huit voyages entre 2015 et 2018 pendant lesquels le photographe a été à la rencontre des Arméniens et des Arméniennes.
Trois bouleversements marquèrent l’année 1988, entraînant une rupture dans la vie des Arméniens.

Pour cette Rencontre du samedi, nous proposons la découverte d’une jeune et singulière maison d’édition, avec Patrick ROLLIER, créateur des Éditions d’une rive à l’autre.
Cet échange direct avec Patrick ROLLIER vise à nous en apprendre davantage sur le travail d’éditeur, les choix artistiques et les techniques mises en œuvre au service du propos, le lien texte/image. Dans une époque où les images dématérialisées sont produites en masse, la matérialité de la photographie rappelle son importance. Des livres pensés pour être au service d’un regard sur le monde.
ARMENIA, Year Zero è il risultato di un lavoro fotografico che ha coinvolto otto viaggi tra il 2015 e il 2018 durante i quali il fotografo ha incontrato gli armeni.
Tre sconvolgimenti hanno segnato l'anno 1988, provocando una frattura nella vita degli armeni.
