Unter dem Titel «voyages» zeigt der Künstler und Fotograf Franz Goldschmidt Fotografien, die zum grössten Teil auf Reisen in Europa, Osteuropa und Indonesien entstanden sind. Es handelt sich einerseits um digitale, farbige Schnappschüsse im Kleinformat, andererseits um grossformatige S/W-Prints ab Lochkameranegativen.
Wichtig sind für Goldschmidt die unterschiedlichen Zeitdimensionen der Medien: das Sammeln bei der Lochkamerafotografie gegenüber dem Jagen mit der schnellen digitalen Kamera. Das Ortsspezifische, Identifizierbare ist nicht von Belang – ihn interessieren vielmehr Ähnlichkeiten und Gegensätze. Dabei begegnen sich Situationen und Strukturen von verschiedenen Orten, aus Zivilisation und Natur, die manchmal überraschende Parallelitäten aufweisen.
Sous le titre "voyages", l'artiste et photographe Franz Goldschmidt présente des photographies prises pour la plupart lors de voyages en Europe, en Europe de l'Est et en Indonésie. Il s'agit d'une part d'instantanés numériques en couleur de petit format, d'autre part de tirages N/B grand format à partir de négatifs d'appareils photo à sténopé.
Ce qui est important pour Goldschmidt, ce sont les différentes dimensions temporelles des médias : la collecte avec la photographie au sténopé par rapport à la chasse avec l'appareil numérique rapide. Le lieu spécifique et identifiable n'a pas d'importance - ce qui l'intéresse, ce sont les similitudes et les contrastes. Des situations et des structures issues de différents lieux, de la civilisation et de la nature, se rencontrent et présentent parfois des parallèles surprenants.

Da un lato si tratta di istantanee digitali a colori di piccolo formato, dall'altro di stampe in b/n di grande formato da negativi di macchine fotografiche stenopeiche.
Per Goldschmidt sono importanti le diverse dimensioni temporali dei media: la raccolta con la fotografia stenopeica e la caccia con la veloce fotocamera digitale. Il luogo specifico, l'identificabile non è importante - è molto più interessato alle somiglianze e ai contrasti. Situazioni e strutture di luoghi diversi, della civiltà e della natura, a volte mostrano sorprendenti parallelismi.
Under the title "voyages", the artist and photographer Franz Goldschmidt shows photographs, most of which were taken during travels in Europe, Eastern Europe and Indonesia. On the one hand, they are digital, color snapshots in small format, on the other hand, they are large-format B/W prints from pinhole camera negatives.
Important for Goldschmidt are the different time dimensions of the media: collecting with pinhole camera photography versus hunting with the fast digital camera. The location-specific, identifiable is not important - he is much more interested in similarities and contrasts. Situations and structures from different places, from civilization and nature, are encountered, sometimes showing surprising parallelisms.
