KOLLEKTIV BETON
Die Künstlerinnen und Filmemacherinnen Rebekka Friedli und Nathalie Kamber, die hinter KOLLEKTIV BETON stehen, laden erneut zu einer audiovisuellen Reise ein. Wie schon bereits 2016 bei ihrem Debütprojekt «Mit dem Blick nach oben» erleben die Besucher*innen ihr neuestes Werk SKIES ebenfalls im Liegen.
Für den 30-minütigen Film haben die Künstlerinnen ein eigens kreiertes, skulpturales Gerüst entworfen. Dieses wird beim Betreten zur begehbaren Videoinstallation mit Teppich und Kissen, die zum Videogenuss im Liegen einladen. Durch die sieben Meter grosse, runde Leinwand, die sich über den Köpfen der Zuschauenden spannt, und den kuppelförmig angeordneten Surround Sound werden alle Sinne vereinnahmt. Eine sehr persönliche Reise beginnt, bei der nicht nur das Sehen eine wichtige Rolle spielt. Im Zusammenspiel von Bild und Ton erleben die Zuschauer*innen, wie sich die ausdehnende Oberfläche einer Seifenblase anfühlt, wie das erdrückende Gewicht eines herabsenkenden Containers auf den Körper wirkt oder wie Giraffenküsse schmecken.
KOLLEKTIV BETON arbeitet mit den klassischen Stilmitteln des Films, wie Slowmotion, Makroaufnahmen und Kamerafahrten. Die Grenzen des Mediums Film werden auf subtile Weise gesprengt, indem Gegenstände und Materialien inhaltlich wie auch technisch zweckentfremdet verwendet werden. Im Fokus des Videos stehen die oftmals übersehenen Dinge des Alltags, die, aus veränderter Perspektive betrachtet, neue Sichtweisen eröffnen.
Der 2019 gegründete Verein KOLLEKTIV BETON ist die Spielwiese von Friedli und Kamber, die schon seit 2015 als kreatives Duo tätig sind. Mit ihren immersiven, installativen und audiovisuellen Werken, laden sie ihr Publikum immer wieder dazu ein, der Neugier nachzugehen und ins Staunen zu kommen. 2019 gewinnen sie den «Fast Track» der Zürcher Filmstiftung und legen damit den Grundstein für SKIES. Gemeinsam mit anderen Schweizer Filmschaffenden zeigen sie ihr Werk während vier Tagen anlässlich der 58. Solothurner Filmtage.
Les artistes et cinéastes Rebekka Friedli et Nathalie Kamber, à l'origine de KOLLEKTIV BETON, invitent à nouveau à un voyage audiovisuel. Comme en 2016 pour leur premier projet "Mit dem Blick nach oben", les visiteurs* découvrent également leur dernière œuvre SKIES en position allongée.
Pour ce film de 30 minutes, les artistes ont conçu un échafaudage sculptural spécialement créé pour l'occasion. En entrant, celui-ci se transforme en une installation vidéo praticable, avec tapis et coussins, qui invite à profiter de la vidéo en position allongée. Grâce à l'écran circulaire de sept mètres de diamètre qui s'étend au-dessus de la tête des spectateurs et au son surround disposé en forme de dôme, tous les sens sont captés. Un voyage très personnel commence, dans lequel la vue n'est pas la seule à jouer un rôle important. Grâce à l'interaction entre le visuel et le sonore, les spectateurs* découvrent la sensation de la surface en expansion d'une bulle de savon, l'effet sur le corps du poids écrasant d'un conteneur qui s'affaisse ou le goût des baisers de girafe.
KOLLEKTIV BETON travaille avec les moyens stylistiques classiques du cinéma, comme le ralenti, les plans macro et les mouvements de caméra. Les limites du médium cinématographique sont subtilement explosées par l'utilisation d'objets et de matériaux détournés de leur fonction, tant au niveau du contenu que de la technique. La vidéo se concentre sur les objets du quotidien, souvent ignorés, qui, vus sous une perspective différente, ouvrent de nouvelles perspectives.
L'association KOLLEKTIV BETON, fondée en 2019, est le terrain de jeu de Friedli et Kamber, qui travaillent déjà depuis 2015 en tant que duo créatif. Avec leurs œuvres immersives, installatives et audiovisuelles, ils invitent toujours leur public à poursuivre leur curiosité et à s'émerveiller. En 2019, ils remportent le "Fast Track" de la Fondation zurichoise pour le cinéma et posent ainsi la première pierre de SKIES. Avec d'autres cinéastes suisses, ils présentent leur travail pendant quatre jours à l'occasion des 58e Journées de Soleure.

Come nel 2016 con il loro progetto di debutto "Mit dem Blick nach oben" (Guardando in alto), i visitatori potranno sperimentare il loro ultimo lavoro SKIES anche da sdraiati.
Per il film di 30 minuti, gli artisti hanno progettato un'impalcatura scultorea appositamente creata. Entrando, si trasforma in un'installazione video walk-in con un tappeto e cuscini che invitano a godersi il video da sdraiati. Lo schermo rotondo di sette metri che si estende sopra le teste degli spettatori e il suono surround a forma di cupola coinvolgono tutti i sensi. Inizia un viaggio molto personale, in cui non solo la vista gioca un ruolo importante. Nel gioco di immagini e suoni, gli spettatori sperimentano la sensazione della superficie in espansione di una bolla di sapone, l'effetto del peso schiacciante di un contenitore che si abbassa o il sapore dei baci di giraffa.
KOLLEKTIV BETON lavora con i classici dispositivi stilistici del cinema, come il rallentatore, le riprese macro e le carrellate. I confini del mezzo cinematografico vengono sottilmente esplosi utilizzando oggetti e materiali per scopi diversi da quelli previsti, sia in termini di contenuto che di tecnologia. Il video si concentra sulle cose spesso trascurate della vita quotidiana che, viste da una prospettiva diversa, aprono nuovi modi di vedere.
Fondata nel 2019, KOLLEKTIV BETON è il parco giochi di Friedli e Kamber, che lavorano come duo creativo dal 2015. Con le loro opere immersive, installative e audiovisive, invitano costantemente il pubblico a perseguire la curiosità e a entrare nella meraviglia. Nel 2019 vincono il "Fast Track" della Zurich Film Foundation e gettano le basi per SKIES. Insieme ad altri registi svizzeri, mostreranno le loro opere per quattro giorni in occasione del 58° Festival del Cinema di Soletta.
The artists and filmmakers Rebekka Friedli and Nathalie Kamber, who are behind KOLLEKTIV BETON, once again invite you to an audiovisual journey. As in 2016 with their debut project "Mit dem Blick nach oben" (Looking up), visitors* will also experience their latest work SKIES while lying down.
For the 30-minute film, the artists have designed a specially created sculptural scaffold. Upon entering, it becomes a walk-in video installation with a carpet and cushions that invite the viewer to enjoy the video while lying down. The seven-meter circular screen stretching above the heads of the viewers and the dome-shaped surround sound engage all the senses. A very personal journey begins, in which not only sight plays an important role. In the interplay of image and sound, viewers experience how the expanding surface of a soap bubble feels, how the crushing weight of a descending container affects the body, or how giraffe kisses taste.
KOLLEKTIV BETON works with the classic stylistic devices of film, such as slow motion, macro shots and tracking shots. The boundaries of the film medium are subtly exploded by using objects and materials for purposes other than their intended ones, both in terms of content and technology. The focus of the video is on the often overlooked things of everyday life, which, seen from a different perspective, open up new ways of seeing.
Founded in 2019, KOLLEKTIV BETON is the playground of Friedli and Kamber, who have been working as a creative duo since 2015. With their immersive, installation and audiovisual works, they continually invite their audiences to pursue curiosity and enter into wonder. In 2019, they win the "Fast Track" of the Zurich Film Foundation, laying the foundation for SKIES. Together with other Swiss filmmakers, they will show their work during four days on the occasion of the 58th Solothurn Film Festival.
