Die Ausstellung ist eine eigentliche Werkschau von Robert Bösch und umfasst die drei Projektkreise, die ihn als Künstler in den letzten Jahren intensiv beschäftigt haben: Mountains, No Man's Land und Not Seen.
Auch wenn die Berge in seinem Schaffen eine wichtige Rolle spielen, geht es ihm eigentlich nicht um den Berg, sondern um das Bild. Er bezeichnet sich als einen Bildersuchenden - egal ob im Gebirge oder in der Grossstadt, ob am Meer oder neben einer Strasse. Fotografieren ist für Robert Bösch die Kunst des Bildersehens, was gleichzeitig die Kunst des Weglassens ist: Das Bild wird erst zum Bild, weil das Davor und das Danach und das Drumherum weggelassen sind. "Bilder sind wie aus dem Zusammenhang gerissene Zitate", so Robert Bösch.
L'exposition est une véritable rétrospective de l'œuvre de Robert Bösch et comprend les trois cercles de projets qui l'ont intensément occupé en tant qu'artiste ces dernières années : Mountains, No Man's Land et Not Seen.
Même si les montagnes jouent un rôle important dans son œuvre, ce n'est pas vraiment la montagne qui l'intéresse, mais le visuel. Il se définit comme un chercheur d'images, que ce soit en montagne ou dans une grande ville, au bord de la mer ou à côté d'une route. Pour Robert Bösch, la photographie est l'art de voir les images, ce qui est en même temps l'art d'omettre : le visuel ne devient une image que parce que l'avant, l'après et ce qui l'entoure sont omis. "Les visuels sont comme des citations sorties de leur contexte", explique Robert Bösch.
La mostra è una vera e propria esposizione del lavoro di Robert Bösch e comprende i tre ambiti progettuali che lo hanno impegnato intensamente come artista negli ultimi anni: Montagne, Terra di nessuno e Non visto.
Anche se le montagne giocano un ruolo importante nel suo lavoro, l'artista non è realmente interessato alla montagna, ma all'immagine. Si descrive come un cercatore di immagini, in montagna o in una grande città, in riva al mare o vicino a una strada. Per Robert Bösch, la fotografia è l'arte di vedere l'immagine, che è anche l'arte dell'omissione: l'immagine diventa un'immagine solo perché il prima e il dopo e gli orpelli sono omessi. "Le immagini sono come citazioni estrapolate dal contesto", afferma Robert Bösch.
The exhibition is an actual show of Robert Bösch's work and encompasses the three project circles that have occupied him intensively as an artist in recent years: Mountains, No Man's Land and Not Seen.
Even though mountains play an important role in his work, he is not really concerned with the mountain, but with the image. He describes himself as a picture seeker - whether in the mountains or in the big city, whether by the sea or next to a road. For Robert Bösch, photography is the art of seeing the picture, which is at the same time the art of omission: the picture only becomes a picture because the before and after and the trappings are omitted. "Pictures are like quotes taken out of context," says Robert Bösch.
