Ausgehend von einer der bekanntesten Fotografien der Welt - der Aufnahme eines jungen Paares, das sich küsst, gleichgültig gegenüber dem Gedränge der Passanten und dem Verkehr auf dem Place de l'Hôtel de Ville in Paris - erkundet die Ausstellung das Werk eines berühmten Fotografen wie Doisneau, der zusammen mit Henri Cartier-Bresson als einer der Gründerväter der französischen humanistischen Fotografie und des Straßenbildjournalismus gilt. Mit seinem Objektiv, dem Ausdruck eines einfühlsamen und ironischen Blicks, hielt Doisneau den Alltag der Männer, Frauen und Kinder von Paris und der Banlieue fest, mit allen Emotionen der Gesten und Situationen, in denen sie sich befinden. Die in der Ausstellung gezeigten Bilder zeugen von seinem Stil, der Neugier und Fantasie zu vereinen vermag, aber auch von einer Freiheit des Ausdrucks, die sich die Logik des Surrealismus zu eigen macht und sie auf ironische Weise neu interpretiert.
Die von Gabriel Bauret kuratierte Ausstellung wird von CAMERA, Silvana Editoriale und der Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo gefördert.
Partant de l'une des photographies les plus connues au monde - le cliché d'un jeune couple s'embrassant, indifférent à la foule des passants et à la circulation sur la place de l'Hôtel de Ville à Paris - l'exposition explore le travail d'un photographe célèbre comme Doisneau qui, avec Henri Cartier-Bresson, est considéré comme l'un des pères fondateurs de la photographie humaniste française et du photojournalisme de rue. Avec son objectif, expression d'un regard empathique et ironique, Doisneau a capturé la vie quotidienne des hommes, des femmes et des enfants de Paris et de sa banlieue, avec toutes les émotions des gestes et des situations dans lesquels ils sont engagés. Les images de l'exposition témoignent de son style, capable de mêler curiosité et fantaisie, mais aussi d'une liberté d'expression qui fait sienne la logique du surréalisme, en la réinterprétant sur un mode ironique.
L'exposition, dont le commissaire est Gabriel Bauret, est promue par CAMERA, Silvana Editoriale et la Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo.
A partire da una delle fotografie più conosciute al mondo – lo scatto del bacio di una giovane coppia indifferente alla folla dei passanti e al traffico della place de l’Hôtel de Ville di Parigi – la mostra esplora l’opera di un celebre fotografo come Doisneau che, insieme a Henri Cartier-Bresson, è considerato uno dei padri fondatori della fotografia umanista francese e del fotogiornalismo di strada. Con il suo obbiettivo, espressione di uno sguardo empatico e ironico, Doisneau ha catturato la vita quotidiana degli uomini, delle donne, dei bambini di Parigi e la sua banlieue, con tutte le emozioni dei gesti e delle situazioni in cui sono impegnati. Le immagini in mostra ne testimoniano lo stile in grado di mescolare curiosità e fantasia, ma anche una libertà d’espressione che fa proprie le logiche del surrealismo reinterpretandole in chiave ironica.

Starting with one of the most famous photographs in the world – the shot of a kiss by a young couple indifferent to the crowd of passers-by and the traffic of the place de l’Hôtel de Ville in Paris – the exhibition explores the work of a famous photographer such as Doisneau who, together with Henri Cartier-Bresson, is considered one of the founding fathers of French humanist photography and street photojournalism. With his lens, expression of an empathic and ironic gaze, Doisneau has captured the daily life of the men, women, children of Paris and its suburbs, with all the emotions of the gestures and situations in which they are engaged. The images on display testify to his style capable of mixing curiosity and imagination, but also a freedom of expression that makes the logic of surrealism its own, reinterpreting them in an ironic key.
