Ordinary People aus der Enge eines gebundenen Buches befreit.
Größe zeigen. Eintauchen in entwaffnende Ehrlichkeit. Verletzlichkeit. Verlorene Makellosigkeit. Manchmal arrogant, manchmal introvertiert. Manchmal selbstverständlich. Aber auch: faszinierende Schönheit. Porträtiert in schwarz-weiß. Als ein stiller Begleiter von Menschen, die ich als Freund, Bekannter oder aber als Bewunderer über ein Jahr hinweg in Deutschland und Europa mit meiner LEICA begleitet, beobachtet und gezeichnet habe. So nahe, intim und respektvoll wie möglich. Und immer war ich beeindruckt vom Mensch als Individuum.

Faire preuve de grandeur. Plonger dans une honnêteté désarmante. De la vulnérabilité. L'impeccabilité perdue. Parfois arrogant, parfois introverti. Parfois évident. Mais aussi : une beauté fascinante. Portraits en noir et blanc. Comme un compagnon silencieux de personnes que j'ai accompagnées, observées et dessinées avec mon LEICA pendant plus d'un an en Allemagne et en Europe, en tant qu'ami, connaissance ou admirateur. De manière aussi proche, intime et respectueuse que possible. Et j'ai toujours été impressionné par l'être humain en tant qu'individu.

Mostrando la grandezza. Tuffarsi in un'onestà disarmante. Vulnerabilità. Impeccabilità perduta. A volte arroganti, a volte introversi. A volte evidente. Ma anche: affascinante bellezza. Ritratta in bianco e nero. Come un compagno silenzioso di persone che ho accompagnato, osservato e disegnato con la mia LEICA per un anno in Germania e in Europa come amico, conoscente o ammiratore. Il più vicino, intimo e rispettoso possibile. E sono sempre stato colpito dalle persone come individui.
Ordinary People liberated from the constraints of a bound book.
Revealing true greatness. Embracing disarmingly honest moments. Vulnerability. Embracing imperfections. At times, displaying arrogance, at others, introversion. Sometimes taken for granted, but also possessing a captivating beauty. Portrayed in classic black and white. As a silent observer and companion, I journeyed alongside people – friends, acquaintances or people of whom I’m a fan of – throughout Germany and Europe for a whole year, capturing their essence through my LEICA. I aimed to get as close, intimate and respectful as possible. Each individual left me consistently impressed.
