Die Buchhandlung Artphilein freut sich, die Eröffnung der neuen Ausstellung 'Monozygotes' von Caroline Minjolle bekannt zu geben, die von Mittwoch, den 10. Juli bis Freitag, den 27. September in der Buchhandlung zu sehen sein wird. Diese Ausstellung ist Teil des Programms des Schweizer Fotomonats, einer neuen Initiative des Vereins 'Spectrum - Fotografie in der Schweiz'.
Monozygote“ ist ein Projekt, das über 60 Jahre an Bildern der Künstlerin und ihrer Zwillingsschwester zusammenbringt. Caroline Minjolle reflektiert über ihre einzigartige Beziehung und die räumliche Distanz, die sie die meiste Zeit ihres Lebens trennte:
„Wir lebten getrennt, lange bevor wir erwachsen wurden. Als ich 15 war, verließ ich meine Heimatstadt im Süden Frankreichs, um Tänzerin zu werden. [...] All diese Jahre lebten wir physisch getrennt, hunderte von Kilometern voneinander entfernt, mit sehr unterschiedlichen familiären und beruflichen Wegen. Aber ein starkes und einzigartiges Band hat uns immer miteinander verbunden.“
Die Ausstellung 'Monozygoten' wird von einem gleichnamigen Fotobuch begleitet, das Sie in der Buchhandlung Artphilein ansehen und sowohl online als auch im Buchhandel erwerben können.

La librairie Artphilein a le plaisir d'annoncer l'ouverture de la nouvelle exposition « Monozygotes » de Caroline Minjolle, qui se tiendra à la librairie du mercredi 10 juillet au vendredi 27 septembre. Cette exposition fait partie du programme du Mois de la Photo Suisse, une nouvelle initiative de l'association « Spectrum - Photographie en Suisse ».
Monozygotes » est un projet qui rassemble plus de 60 ans d'images de l'artiste et de sa sœur jumelle. Caroline Minjolle revient sur leur relation unique et sur la distance physique qui les a séparées pendant la majeure partie de leur vie :
« Nous avons vécu séparément bien avant de devenir adultes. À l'âge de 15 ans, j'ai quitté ma ville natale dans le sud de la France pour devenir danseuse. [...] Pendant toutes ces années, nous avons vécu physiquement séparées, à des centaines de kilomètres l'une de l'autre, avec des parcours familiaux et professionnels très différents. Mais un lien fort et unique nous a toujours unis ».

Artphilein Bookstore è lieta di annunciare l'inaugurazione della nuova mostra "Monozygotes" di Caroline Minjolle, che si terrà nella sede della libreria a partire da mercoledì 10 luglio fino a venerdì 27 settembre. Questa mostra fa parte del programma de Swiss Photo Month, una nuova iniziativa dell'associazione 'Spectrum – Fotografia in Svizzera'.
"Monozygotes" è un progetto che raccoglie oltre 60 anni di immagini che ritraggono l'artista e sua sorella gemella. Caroline Minjolle riflette sulla loro relazione unica e sulla distanza fisica che le ha separate per gran parte della loro vita:
"Abbiamo vissuto separate molto prima di diventare adulte. Quando avevo 15 anni, ho lasciato la mia città natale nel sud della Francia per diventare ballerina. [...] Abbiamo vissuto vite fisicamente separate per tutti questi anni, a centinaia di chilometri di distanza, con percorsi familiari e professionali molto diversi. Ma un legame forte e unico ci ha sempre unite."

Artphilein Bookstore is pleased to announce the opening of the new exhibition “Monozygotes” by Caroline Minjolle, which will be held at the bookstore premises from Wednesday, July 10 until Friday, September 27. This exhibition is part of the program of Swiss Photo Month, a new initiative of the association 'Spectrum - Photography in Switzerland'.
“Monozygotes” is a project that brings together more than 60 years of images depicting the artist and her twin sister. Caroline Minjolle reflects on their unique relationship and the physical distance that separated them for most of their lives:
“We lived apart long before we became adults. When I was 15, I left my hometown in the south of France to become a dancer. [...] We lived physically separate lives all these years, hundreds of miles apart, with very different family and professional paths. But a strong and unique bond has always united us.”
The “Monozygotes” exhibition is also accompanied by a photography book of the same name, available for viewing at Artphilein Bookstore and for purchase both online and in bookstores.
