Die Ausstellung In Ekstase von P. Staff (* 1987) aus Grossbritannien beinhaltet ausschliesslich neue Werke, welche aus Videos, Skulpturen und Installationen bestehen. Die bisher grösste Einzelausstellung von P. Staff befasst sich mit den unzähligen Vorgängen, durch welche Lebende – insbesondere an den Rand gedrängte Gruppen – in einer vom Kapitalismus und dessen Unmenschlichkeit geprägten Gesellschaft diszipliniert werden. Durch die Verknüpfung von Trans-Poetik, Mystik und Nekropolitik gestaltet Staff eine Ausstellung, die zugleich atmosphärisch und ergreifend ist. Wer sie besucht, betritt ein Universum. Wer sie verlässt, wird verwandelt sein von den dringend notwendigen Überlegungen des Kunstschaffenden zur wesentlichen Frage: Wie können wir genau bestimmen, was es heisst, in einer in Flammen stehenden Welt zu leben, wirklich zu leben?

L'exposition In Ekstase de P. Staff (* 1987) de Grande-Bretagne comprend exclusivement des œuvres récentes, composées de vidéos, de sculptures et d'installations. La plus grande exposition individuelle de P. Staff à ce jour se penche sur les innombrables processus par lesquels les vivants - en particulier les groupes marginalisés - sont disciplinés dans une société marquée par le capitalisme et son inhumanité. En associant la trans-poétique, le mysticisme et la nécropolitique, Staff crée une exposition à la fois atmosphérique et émouvante. Celui qui la visite pénètre dans un univers. Ceux qui la quitteront seront transformés par les réflexions urgentes et nécessaires de l'artiste sur la question essentielle : comment pouvons-nous déterminer exactement ce que signifie vivre, vivre vraiment, dans un monde en flammes ?

La mostra In Ecstasy di P. Staff (* 1987), proveniente dal Regno Unito, contiene esclusivamente nuove opere composte da video, sculture e installazioni. La più grande mostra personale di P. Staff affronta la miriade di modi in cui i vivi - soprattutto i gruppi emarginati - sono disciplinati in una società plasmata dal capitalismo e dalla sua disumanità. Collegando trans-poetica, misticismo e necropolitica, Staff crea una mostra suggestiva e toccante. Chi la visita entra in un universo. Chi se ne va sarà trasformato dalle necessarie riflessioni dell'artista sulla domanda essenziale: come possiamo determinare esattamente cosa significa vivere, vivere veramente, in un mondo in fiamme?

The exhibition, In Ekstase, by British artist P. Staff (*1987), incorporates all new works in video, sculpture, and installation. As their largest solo show to date, it draws on persistent concerns of the artist, such as the myriad processes by which the living—especially marginalized communities—are disciplined in a society defined by capitalism and its brutality. Through a weaving of trans poetics, mysticism, and necropolitics, Staff constructs an exhibition at once atmospheric and haunting. To visit it will be to enter a universe. To leave it will be to be transformed by the artist’s urgent reflection on that essential question: how can we define what it is to live, truly live, in a world on fire?
