Die Galerie Bernhard Bischoff & Partner erstmals ihre Räumlichkeiten dem jungen Linking Art Collective zur Verfügung.

In der bevorstehenden Ausstellung «Imaginatio: innere Welten im Gespräch»wird die innere Landschaft, die imaginierte Welt, die wir alle in uns wissen, als Thema aufgegriffen. Die beiden künstlerischen Positionen Giulia Schlüchter und Tim Rod beschäftigen sich auf unterschiedliche Weise mit dem Thema. Es entsteht ein Kontrast, der konzeptuell und medial angelegt ist. Die Grenzen von Imagination und Realität werden unscharf. Dies spiegelt sich auch in den Kunstwerken, die durch ihre abstrakten Formen einen Zugang zur inneren Welt schaffen. Die Zeichnungen von Giulia Schlüchter eröffnen den Betrachter*innen fantastische Landschaften. Gespeist werden diese durch Eindrücke, die die Künstlerin in ihrem Alltag sammelt. Im Gegensatz dazu hält Tim Rod seine Umwelt fotografisch fest. Durch die Verarbeitung dieser Aufnahmen zu Collagen fliesst seine Imagination in die Werke ein. Die Kunstschaffenden beschäftigen sich, über ihre Werke hinaus, auch auf einer theoretischen Ebene mit dem Thema. Dies dokumentieren die im letzten halben Jahr mit ihnen geführten Interviews. Dank dieser Gespräche lässt sich die «innere Welt» der Künstler*innen ungezwungen entdecken und wird so als wichtige Ergänzung zu den Kunstwerken in der Ausstellung sichtbar. Durch die Verwendung der Interviews als Methode, die auch in den Kunstwissenschaften zur Anwendung kommt, schlägt das Ausstellungsprojekt eine Brücke zwischen Theorie und Praxis. Das Interview dient also einerseits als mögliche Strategie, mittels der Intention der Kunstschaffenden in ein Werk einzutauchen. Als wissenschaftliche Methode bietet es andererseits eine mögliche Basis für zukünftige kunsthistorische Betrachtung und Einordnung der künstlerischen Positionen.
L'exposition à venir "Imaginatio : des mondes intérieurs en conversation" a pour thème le paysage intérieur, le monde imaginé que nous connaissons tous en nous. Les deux positions artistiques de Giulia Schlüchter et Tim Rod traitent ce thème de manière différente. Il en résulte un contraste qui est à la fois conceptuel et médiatique. Les frontières entre l'imagination et la réalité deviennent floues. Cela se reflète également dans les œuvres d'art qui, par leurs formes abstraites, donnent accès au monde intérieur. Les dessins de Giulia Schlüchter ouvrent aux spectateurs* des paysages fantastiques. Ceux-ci sont alimentés par les impressions que l'artiste recueille dans son quotidien. Tim Rod, quant à lui, prend des photos de son environnement. En transformant ces prises de vue en collages, son imagination s'intègre dans les œuvres. Au-delà de leurs œuvres, les artistes se penchent également sur le sujet à un niveau théorique. Les entretiens menés avec eux au cours des six derniers mois en témoignent. Grâce à ces entretiens, le "monde intérieur" des artistes se laisse découvrir sans contrainte et devient ainsi un complément important aux œuvres d'art dans l'exposition. En utilisant les interviews comme méthode, également appliquée dans les sciences de l'art, le projet d'exposition jette un pont entre la théorie et la pratique. L'interview sert donc d'une part de stratégie possible pour se plonger dans une œuvre par le biais de l'intention des artistes. En tant que méthode scientifique, elle offre d'autre part une base possible pour une future observation de l'histoire de l'art et une classification des positions artistiques.
Nella prossima mostra "Imaginatio: mondi interiori in conversazione", il paesaggio interiore, il mondo immaginario che tutti conosciamo dentro di noi, viene ripreso come tema. Le due posizioni artistiche di Giulia Schlüchter e Tim Rod affrontano il tema in modi diversi. Il risultato è un contrasto concettuale e mediale. I confini tra immaginazione e realtà si confondono. Questo si riflette anche nelle opere d'arte, che creano un accesso al mondo interiore attraverso le loro forme astratte. I disegni di Giulia Schlüchter aprono allo spettatore paesaggi fantastici. Sono alimentati dalle impressioni che l'artista raccoglie nella sua vita quotidiana. Tim Rod, invece, cattura il suo ambiente fotograficamente. Elaborando queste fotografie in collage, la sua immaginazione confluisce nelle opere. Al di là delle loro opere, gli artisti affrontano il tema anche a livello teorico. Ciò è documentato dalle interviste condotte con loro negli ultimi sei mesi. Grazie a queste interviste, il "mondo interiore" degli artisti può essere scoperto senza costrizioni e diventa così visibile come un importante complemento alle opere in mostra. Utilizzando le interviste come metodo applicato anche agli studi d'arte, il progetto espositivo getta un ponte tra teoria e pratica. Così, da un lato, l'intervista serve come possibile strategia per immergersi in un'opera d'arte attraverso l'intenzione dell'artista. Dall'altro, come metodo scientifico, offre una possibile base per la futura osservazione storico-artistica e la classificazione delle posizioni artistiche.
In the upcoming exhibition "Imaginatio: inner worlds in conversation "the inner landscape, the imagined world that we all know inside us, is taken up as a theme. The two artistic positions Giulia Schlüchter and Tim Rod deal with the topic in different ways. A contrast emerges that is conceptual and medial. The boundaries between imagination and reality become blurred. This is also reflected in the artworks, which create access to the inner world through their abstract forms. Giulia Schlüchter's drawings open up fantastic landscapes to the viewer. They are fed by impressions that the artist collects in her everyday life. In contrast, Tim Rod captures his environment photographically. By processing these photographs into collages, his imagination flows into the works. Beyond their works, the artists also deal with the subject on a theoretical level. This is documented by the interviews conducted with them over the past six months. Thanks to these interviews, the artists' "inner world" can be discovered without constraint and thus becomes visible as an important complement to the artworks in the exhibition. By using interviews as a method that is also applied in art studies, the exhibition project builds a bridge between theory and practice. Thus, on the one hand, the interview serves as a possible strategy for immersing oneself in a work of art by means of the intention of the artist. On the other hand, as a scientific method, it offers a possible basis for future art-historical observation and classification of the artistic positions.
