Urs Amiet: 30 Sekunden, 2022
Der Lochfotograf zeigt Portraits, aufgenommen mit einer selbst umgebauten Sofortbild-Lochkamera. Bei allen Portraits bleibt die Belichtungszeit 30 Sekunden. 30 Sekunden sind eine kurze Zeitspanne. 30 Sekunden ruhig sitzen, sich entspannen können wird als lang empfunden. Das Sofortbild verspricht eine schnelle Verfügbarkeit des Bildes. Der Prozess zum Bild allerdings nimmt einige Zeit in Anspruch.
Urs Amiet interessiert, was mit dieser Transformation der Gesichter durch Zeit geschieht. Die ausgegebenen Sofort-Portraitbilder werden als Gemeinschaft gehängt, eine Auswahl davon wird seitenrichtig präsentiert. Urs Amiet wird ein Fotostudio aufbauen und Interessierte während der Ausstellung portraitieren. Diese Portraits werden die Gemeinschaft der Gesichter erweitern.

Ursula Müller: Testimoni
Die in Uzwil SG aufgewachsene Fotografin Ursula Müller setzt sich in ihrer Arbeit Testimoni Zeugen Testigos mit Raum und Zeit, gelebter Geschichte und deren Schichten auseinander. Ausgangspunkt ist das Haus ihrer Kindheit - Lebensmittelpunkt von Generationen während über 100 Jahren - zu welchem sie nach 40 Jahren, vor seinem Abbruch, zurückkehrt. - Die das Haus umgebenden Pflanzen wachsen und überwachsen, verbergen und öffnen Erinnerungsräume, werden zu stummen Zeugen ihrer Zeit. Sie verbinden Geschichten und Dinge durch die Jahrzehnte, während die Menschen kommen und gehen. Ihre Verästelungen reichen weit, bis in den Veneto und nach Galizien. Vor Ort gesammelte Pflanzen, in weiteren Prozessen getrocknet und fotografiert, werden zu Erinnerungsträgern – und zum Archiv, auf welches Ursula Müller fortan zugreifen kann.

Simon von Gunten: Ich bin Vater (Arbeitstitel) 2022
Mit der Geburt der Kinder hat sich in kurzer Zeit viel verändert. Ich realisiere, dass ein neuer Lebensabschnitt begonnen hat. Die Zeit mit der Familie ist ausgefüllt mit Leben – gemeinsam meistern wir den Alltag, freuen uns über alles neu Gelernte und überstehen Krisen. Ich gehe meinen Weg, entscheide mich immer wieder für eine der vielen Möglichkeiten. Die Zeit läuft. Wie wäre es weiter gegangen ohne Kinder?
Manchmal zieht es mich hinaus in die Welt, in welcher ich einen Spiegel meines Gemütszustandes finde. Die Jahreszeiten, das Aufgehen der Kirschblüten; Fabriken fallen in sich zusammen. Der Lauf der Dinge. Die Fotografie hilft mir, diese ersten intensiven Jahre zu reflektieren und festzuhalten. Wo geht die Reise hin?

Urs Amiet : 30 secondes, 2022
Le sténopéiste présente des portraits pris avec un appareil photo instantané sténopé qu'il a lui-même transformé. Pour tous les portraits, le temps d'exposition reste de 30 secondes. Trente secondes, c'est court. Trente secondes pour s'asseoir tranquillement, pour se détendre est perçu comme long. La photo instantanée promet une disponibilité rapide de l'image. Le processus menant à l'image prend toutefois un certain temps.
Urs Amiet s'intéresse à ce qui se passe avec cette transformation des visages par le temps. Les photos-portraits instantanées distribuées sont accrochées en tant que communauté, une sélection d'entre elles est présentée à l'endroit. Urs Amiet installera un studio photo et réalisera les portraits des personnes intéressées pendant l'exposition. Ces portraits permettront d'élargir la communauté des visages.

Dans son travail Testimoni Zeugen Testigos, la photographe Ursula Müller, qui a grandi à Uzwil SG, se penche sur l'espace et le temps, l'histoire vécue et ses strates. Le point de départ est la maison de son enfance - centre de vie de générations pendant plus de 100 ans - à laquelle elle revient 40 ans plus tard, avant sa démolition. - Les plantes qui entourent la maison poussent et envahissent, cachent et ouvrent des espaces de mémoire, deviennent des témoins muets de leur époque. Elles relient les histoires et les choses à travers les décennies, tandis que les gens vont et viennent. Leurs ramifications vont loin, jusqu'en Vénétie et en Galicie. Des plantes récoltées sur place, séchées et photographiées au cours d'autres processus, deviennent des supports de mémoire - et des archives auxquelles Ursula Müller peut désormais accéder.

Simon von Gunten : Je suis père (titre provisoire) 2022
Avec la naissance des enfants, beaucoup de choses ont changé en peu de temps. Je réalise qu'une nouvelle phase de ma vie a commencé. Le temps passé avec la famille est rempli de vie - ensemble, nous maîtrisons le quotidien, nous nous réjouissons de tout ce que nous avons appris et nous surmontons les crises. Je poursuis mon chemin, je choisis toujours l'une des nombreuses possibilités. Le temps passe. Comment les choses auraient-elles évolué sans les enfants ?
Parfois, je suis attirée par le monde, dans lequel je trouve un miroir de mon état d'esprit. Les saisons, l'éclosion des fleurs de cerisier ; les usines s'effondrent. Le cours des choses. La photographie m'aide à réfléchir à ces premières années intenses et à les immortaliser. Où va le voyage ?

Il fotografo stenopeico mostra ritratti realizzati con una macchina fotografica istantanea a foro stenopeico da lui stesso convertita. In tutti i ritratti, il tempo di esposizione rimane di 30 secondi. 30 secondi sono un periodo di tempo breve. Stare fermi per 30 secondi, riuscendo a rilassarsi, viene percepito come un tempo lungo. La foto istantanea promette una rapida disponibilità dell'immagine. Il processo di scatto della foto, tuttavia, richiede un po' di tempo.
Urs Amiet è interessato a capire cosa succede a questa trasformazione dei volti nel tempo. I ritratti istantanei emessi saranno appesi come comunità e una selezione di essi sarà presentata pagina per pagina. Urs Amiet allestirà uno studio fotografico e scatterà ritratti alle persone interessate durante la mostra. Questi ritratti amplieranno la comunità dei volti.

Collegano storie e cose nel corso dei decenni, mentre le persone vanno e vengono. Le loro ramificazioni arrivano lontano, fino al Veneto e alla Galizia. Con la nascita dei figli, molte cose sono cambiate in poco tempo. Mi rendo conto che è iniziata una nuova fase della mia vita. Il tempo trascorso in famiglia è pieno di vita: insieme padroneggiamo la vita quotidiana, ci rallegriamo di tutto ciò che abbiamo imparato di recente e superiamo le crisi. Vado per la mia strada, scegliendo sempre una delle tante opzioni. Il tempo sta per scadere. Come sarebbe andata avanti senza i bambini?
A volte sono attratto dal mondo, nel quale trovo uno specchio del mio stato d'animo. Le stagioni, il sorgere dei fiori di ciliegio, il crollo delle fabbriche. Il corso delle cose. La fotografia mi aiuta a riflettere e a registrare questi primi intensi anni. Dove sta andando il viaggio?

The pinhole photographer shows portraits taken with an instant pinhole camera he converted himself. In all portraits the exposure time remains 30 seconds. 30 seconds is a short period of time. Sitting still for 30 seconds, being able to relax is perceived as long. The instant picture promises a quick availability of the picture. The process to the picture, however, takes some time.
Urs Amiet is interested in what happens to this transformation of faces through time. The issued instant portrait pictures will be hung as a community, and a selection of them will be presented side by side. Urs Amiet will set up a photo studio and take portraits of interested people during the exhibition. These portraits will expand the community of faces.

In her work Testimoni Zeugen Testigos, photographer Ursula Müller, who grew up in Uzwil SG, deals with space and time, lived history and its layers. The starting point is the house of her childhood - the center of life for generations for over 100 years - to which she returns after 40 years, before its demolition. - The plants surrounding the house grow and overgrow, hide and open spaces of memory, become silent witnesses of their time. They connect stories and things through the decades as people come and go. Their ramifications reach far, as far as Veneto and Galicia. Plants collected on site, dried and photographed in further processes, become bearers of memories - and an archive that Ursula Müller can access from now on.

Simon von Gunten: I am a Father (working title) 2022
With the birth of the children, a lot has changed in a short time. I realize that a new phase of life has begun. The time with the family is filled with life - together we master everyday life, rejoice in everything newly learned and overcome crises. I go my own way, always choosing one of the many options. Time is running out. How would it have gone on without children?
Sometimes I am drawn out into the world, in which I find a mirror of my state of mind. The seasons, the rising of cherry blossoms; factories collapsing. The course of things. Photography helps me reflect and record those first intense years. Where is the journey going?
