Engelberg ist der Name einer Gruppe von Künstlerinnen und Künstler, die sich mit dem Ziel gegründet hat, über die eigene Bildwahrnehmung und das jeweilige Oeuvre hinaus in der Zusammenschau ein komplexes „Zeitbild“ erfahrbar zu machen. Die fünf mit dem Medium Fotografie arbeitenden Künstlerinnen und Künstler Claus Bach, Kurt Buchwald, Andrej Glusgold, Matthias Leupold und Katharina Mayer eint das darstellende Moment im Bild.
Die ausgewählten Arbeiten befragen und ergründen in der „Berührung mit der Welt“ das Selbst und das Gegenüber mittels der Inszenierung vor oder hinter der Kamera sowie im Raum.
In der Ausstellung werden Gemeinsamkeiten, Synergien und Verbindungslinien zwischen den Protagonistinnen und Protagonisten deutlich beziehungsweise vertiefen sich oder divergieren.
Engelberg est le nom d'un groupe d'artistes qui s'est formé dans le but de rendre perceptible, au-delà de leur propre perception de l'image et de leur œuvre respective, une "image du temps" complexe par le biais d'une vue d'ensemble. Les cinq artistes travaillant avec le médium photographique, Claus Bach, Kurt Buchwald, Andrej Glusgold, Matthias Leupold et Katharina Mayer, ont en commun le moment de représentation dans le visuel.
Les travaux sélectionnés interrogent et sondent le soi et l'autre dans le "contact avec le monde" au moyen de la mise en scène devant ou derrière la caméra ainsi que dans l'espace.
Dans l'exposition, les points communs, les synergies et les lignes de jonction entre les protagonistes apparaissent clairement, s'approfondissent ou divergent.
Engelberg è il nome di un gruppo di artisti nato con l'obiettivo di rendere possibile l'esperienza di una complessa "immagine del tempo" guardando oltre la propria percezione delle immagini e le rispettive opere. I cinque artisti che lavorano con il mezzo fotografico, Claus Bach, Kurt Buchwald, Andrej Glusgold, Matthias Leupold e Katharina Mayer, sono accomunati dal momento rappresentativo dell'immagine.
Nel loro "contatto con il mondo", le opere selezionate interrogano e scandagliano il sé e la controparte attraverso la messa in scena davanti o dietro la macchina fotografica e nello spazio.
Nella mostra, i punti in comune, le sinergie e le linee di collegamento tra i protagonisti diventano chiari, si approfondiscono o divergono.
Engelberg is the name of a group of artists that was founded with the aim of making it possible to experience a complex "image of time" beyond one's own image perception and the respective oeuvre in the synopsis. The five artists working with the medium of photography, Claus Bach, Kurt Buchwald, Andrej Glusgold, Matthias Leupold and Katharina Mayer, are united by the representational moment in the image.
In their "contact with the world," the selected works question and fathom the self and the counterpart by means of staging in front of or behind the camera as well as in space.
In the exhibition, commonalities, synergies, and lines of connection between the protagonists become clear, deepen, or diverge.
