Magnolien zählen zum botanischen Erbe der Urzeit. In den ersten Tagen des Frühlings sprengen sie ihre kraftvollen Knospen, lange bevor sich die grünen Blätter entfalten.
Im Wechsel von Licht und Schatten wirken die wächsernen Blüten mit ihren markanten Staubfäden wie fragile Skulpturen. Setzen wechselhafte Witterung und Frost der empfindsamen Blust zu, weicht die ausladende Pracht im Nu dem Zerfall.
Les magnolias font partie du patrimoine botanique des temps préhistoriques. Dans les premiers jours du printemps, ils éclatent leurs puissants bourgeons bien avant que les feuilles vertes ne se déploient. Dans l'alternance de l'ombre et de la lumière, les fleurs cireuses aux étamines frappantes ressemblent à de fragiles sculptures. Lorsque la fleur sensible est exposée à des conditions climatiques changeantes et au gel, la splendeur expansive cède rapidement la place à la pourriture.
Le magnolie fanno parte del patrimonio botanico della preistoria. Nei primi giorni di primavera fanno scoppiare i loro potenti boccioli molto prima che le foglie verdi si dispieghino. Nell'alternanza di luce e ombra, i fiori cerei con i loro sorprendenti stami sembrano sculture fragili. Quando la sensibile fioritura è esposta a condizioni climatiche mutevoli e al gelo, lo splendore espansivo cede rapidamente il passo al decadimento.
Magnolias are part of the botanical heritage of prehistoric times. In the first days of spring they burst their powerful buds long before the green leaves unfold. In the alternation of light and shadow, the waxy flowers with their striking stamens look like fragile sculptures. When the sensitive bloom is exposed to changeable weather and frost, the expansive splendour quickly gives way to decay.
