Die Aufführungen des „Theater Artaud“ (1986–1991) in Berlin waren für Amin El Dib (*1961) Anlass, sich mit den theoretischen Schriften Antonin Artauds (1896–1948) auseinanderzusetzen. Artauds „Theater der Grausamkeit“ brach mit der klassischen Literaturvermittlung auf der Bühne und stellte Text, Komposition, Klang und Stimme, Tanz und Gebärden Gleichberechtigt nebeneinander. Die Artaud Mappen (1988–1992) zeigen El Dibs fotografische Umsetzung der Ideen Artauds.
Les représentations du "Théâtre Artaud" (1986-1991) à Berlin ont été l'occasion pour Amin El Dib (*1961) de se pencher sur les écrits théoriques d'Antonin Artaud (1896-1948). Le "théâtre de la cruauté" d'Artaud rompait avec la médiation littéraire classique sur scène et mettait sur un pied d'égalité le texte, la composition, le son et la voix, la danse et les gestes. Les dossiers Artaud (1988-1992) montrent la mise en œuvre photographique des idées d'Artaud par El Dib.
Gli spettacoli del "Teatro Artaud" (1986-1991) a Berlino sono stati l'occasione per Amin El Dib (*1961) di esaminare gli scritti teorici di Antonin Artaud (1896-1948). Il "Teatro della crudeltà" di Artaud rompe con la mediazione classica della letteratura sul palcoscenico e mette sullo stesso piano testo, composizione, suono e voce, danza e gesti. I portfolio Artaud (1988-1992) mostrano la realizzazione fotografica di El Dib delle idee di Artaud.
The performances of "Theater Artaud" (1986-1991) in Berlin were an occasion for Amin El Dib (*1961) to engage with the theoretical writings of Antonin Artaud (1896-1948). Artaud's "Theater of Cruelty" broke with the classical mediation of literature on stage and placed text, composition, sound and voice, dance and gestures on an equal footing. The Artaud portfolios (1988-1992) show El Dib's photographic realization of Artaud's ideas.
