Die Christophe Guye Galerie lädt Sie ein, in die faszinierende Welt von "Winter Interlude" einzutauchen, einer Gruppenausstellung in der Galerie, die eine einzigartige Auswahl von Werken präsentiert, die auf diese herrliche Jahreszeit abgestimmt ist.
Zu sehen ist u.a. ein Werk aus der Serie "White" von Risaku Suzuki (Japan), das noch nie zuvor in der Galerie gezeigt wurde und 2022 in seinem Buch mit dem Titel "Winter to Spring" neu veröffentlicht wurde. Ausserdem wird Suzukis einmaliges Quadriptychon aus der gleichen Serie ausgestellt sein. Zwei Werke aus der Serie "Search for the sun" von Rinko Kawauchi (Japan), die in Österreich für ihre Ausstellung im Kunsthaus Wien aufgenommen wurden, werden ebenfalls zu sehen sein. Zu den Motiven dieser Serie gehören die Gletscher der Alpen sowie eine Kalksteinhöhle tief unter der Erde. Ebenfalls zu sehen sind zwei grossformatige Arbeiten – zum einen ein Werk von Edward Burtynsky (Kanada), das einen Kohlezug in Wyoming, USA, aus der Vogelperspektive zeigt und damit die schreckliche Schönheit industrieller Eingriffe in die Natur zum Ausdruck bringt. Zum anderen ein Werk von Simen Johan (Norwegen), das gefrorene Karibus zeigt und die klassische Unterscheidung zwischen Realität und Fiktion, die für fotografische Manipulationen typisch ist, aufhebt.
La galerie Christophe Guye vous invite à vous plonger dans l'univers fascinant de "Winter Interlude", une exposition collective à la galerie qui présente une sélection unique d'œuvres adaptées à cette magnifique saison.
On y verra notamment une œuvre de la série "White" de Risaku Suzuki (Japon), qui n'avait jamais été présentée à la galerie auparavant et qui a été republiée en 2022 dans son livre intitulé "Winter to Spring". En outre, le quadriptyque unique de Suzuki, issu de la même série, sera exposé. Deux œuvres de la série "Search for the sun" de Rinko Kawauchi (Japon), prises en Autriche pour son exposition au Kunsthaus Wien, seront également exposées. Parmi les motifs de cette série figurent les glaciers des Alpes ainsi qu'une grotte de calcaire profondément enfouie sous terre. Deux œuvres de grand format seront également exposées : l'une d'Edward Burtynsky (Canada), qui montre un train de charbon dans le Wyoming, aux États-Unis, vu du ciel, exprimant ainsi la terrible beauté des interventions industrielles dans la nature. D'autre part, une œuvre de Simen Johan (Norvège), qui montre des caribous gelés et abolit la distinction classique entre réalité et fiction, typique des manipulations photographiques.
La Christophe Guye Galerie vi invita a immergervi nell'affascinante mondo di "Winter Interlude", una mostra collettiva della galleria che presenta una selezione unica di opere in sintonia con questa meravigliosa stagione.
Sarà esposta un'opera della serie "White" di Risaku Suzuki (Giappone), mai esposta prima in galleria e ripubblicata nel 2022 nel suo libro "Winter to Spring". Sarà esposto anche l'esclusivo trittico di Suzuki della stessa serie. Saranno esposte anche due opere della serie "Search for the sun" di Rinko Kawauchi (Giappone), fotografate in Austria per la sua mostra alla Kunsthaus Wien. I motivi di questa serie includono i ghiacciai delle Alpi e una grotta calcarea nel sottosuolo. In mostra anche due opere di grande formato: una di Edward Burtynsky (Canada), che mostra una veduta a volo d'uccello di un treno a carbone nel Wyoming, Stati Uniti, esprimendo così la terribile bellezza degli interventi industriali nella natura. Dall'altro lato, un'opera di Simen Johan (Norvegia), che mostra caribù congelati e abolisce la classica distinzione tra realtà e finzione tipica delle manipolazioni fotografiche.
Christophe Guye Galerie invites you to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of "Winter Interlude", a group exhibition at the gallery that presents a unique selection of works attuned to this glorious season.
On display will be, among others, a work from the series "White" by Risaku Suzuki (Japan), which has never been shown at the gallery before and was republished in 2022 in his book entitled "Winter to Spring". Suzuki's unique quadriptych from the same series will also be on display. Two works from the series "Search for the sun" by Rinko Kawauchi (Japan), which were photographed in Austria for her exhibition at Kunsthaus Wien, will also be on display. The motifs in this series include the glaciers of the Alps and a limestone cave deep underground. Also on display are two large-format works - one by Edward Burtynsky (Canada), which shows a bird's eye view of a coal train in Wyoming, USA, and thus expresses the terrible beauty of industrial interventions in nature. On the other hand, a work by Simen Johan (Norway), which shows frozen caribou and abolishes the classic distinction between reality and fiction that is typical of photographic manipulations.
