Die Ausstellung Être zeigt Julie Langenegger Lachances Fotoreihe über die Erfahrungen von Mitgliedern der Queer- und Non-Binary-Gemeinschaft und bietet damit die Gelegenheit, diese wichtige gesellschaftliche Entwicklung zu beleuchten.
In der Galerie sehen wir beeindruckende Porträts von Menschen im Alter von 21 bis 73 Jahren, die die Fotografin in den vergangenen drei Jahren getroffen hat, die sie für dieses Langzeitprojekt benötigte. Es gibt nur wenig Sichtbarkeit für Menschen aus der Queer-Gemeinschaft.
Im Laufe der Arbeit lernte Julie Langenegger Lachance ihre Modelle kennen, die alle eine bewegende Geschichte haben.
Während der Aufnahmen, die sie mit großem Respekt und Wohlwollen durchführte, gelang es ihr, Erfahrungen zu teilen, die in der Öffentlichkeit kaum wahrgenommen werden.
En présentant la série photographique de Julie Langenegger Lachance relatant l’expérience de membres de la communauté queer et non-binaire, l’exposition Être offre l’occasion de revenir sur cette évolution sociétale majeure.
Au fil de la galerie, nous découvrons des portraits saisissants de personnes âgées de 21 à 73 ans que la photographe a rencontrées durant les trois années précédentes, temps nécessaire pour mener à bien ce projet de longue haleine. Il existe en effet peu de visibilité pour les personnes de la communauté queer.
Aussi, tout au long de ce travail, Julie Langenegger Lachance a appris à connaître ses modèles, tous.x.tes porteuses et porteurs d’histoires bouleversantes.
Lors des prises de vue qu’elle a réalisées dans le plus grand respect et avec bienveillance, elle est parvenue à aller plus loin dans le partage d’expériences rarement mises à l’honneur auprès du grand public.

Nella galleria scopriamo ritratti sorprendenti di persone di età compresa tra i 21 e i 73 anni che il fotografo ha incontrato negli ultimi tre anni, il tempo necessario per completare questo progetto a lungo termine. C'è poca visibilità per le persone della comunità queer.
Nel corso di questo lavoro, Julie Langenegger Lachance ha conosciuto i suoi modelli, tutti portatori di storie commoventi.

By presenting Julie Langenegger Lachance's photographic series recounting the experience of members of the queer and non-binary community, the exhibition Être offers the opportunity to look back on this major societal evolution.
Throughout the gallery, we discover striking portraits of people between the ages of 21 and 73 that the photographer met over the course of three years, the time necessary to complete this long-term project. There is indeed little visibility for people from the queer community.
Throughout this work, Julie Langenegger Lachance got to know her models, all of whom are bearers of moving stories.
During the shooting, which she carried out with the greatest respect and kindness, she managed to go further in sharing experiences that are rarely brought to the forefront of the general public.
