Als globales Phänomen hat Techno nicht nur die Musikgeschichte geprägt, sondern auch Impulse gesetzt, die in die Gegenwartskultur, in Kunst, Popkultur, Medienkonsum und Technologien hineinwirken. In den Spannungsfeldern von Underground und Mainstream, Politik und Kommerz, Raum und Zeit nimmt TECHNO WORLDS lokale und globale Perspektiven des Techno auf und wagt das Experiment, einige wichtige Phänomene des Techno und der Clubkultur in ihren unendlichen Facetten von Werken bildender Künstler*innen erzählen und darstellen zu lassen.

TECHNO WOLRDS ist eine Ausstellung des Goethe-Instituts, die weltweit in Museen und anderen Ausstellungsorten gezeigt wird.
En tant que phénomène global, la techno n'a pas seulement marqué l'histoire de la musique, mais a également donné des impulsions qui se répercutent sur la culture contemporaine, l'art, la culture pop, la consommation médiatique et les technologies. Dans les champs de tension entre underground et mainstream, politique et commerce, espace et temps, TECHNO WORLDS reprend des perspectives locales et globales de la techno et ose l'expérience de faire raconter et représenter quelques phénomènes importants de la techno et de la culture des clubs dans leurs facettes infinies par des œuvres d'artistes visuels*.

Come fenomeno globale, la techno non ha solo plasmato la storia della musica, ma ha anche dato impulsi che hanno un impatto sulla cultura contemporanea, sull'arte, sulla cultura pop, sul consumo dei media e sulle tecnologie. Nei campi di tensione tra underground e mainstream, politica e commercio, spazio e tempo, TECHNO WORLDS riprende le prospettive locali e globali della techno e osa sperimentare che alcuni importanti fenomeni della techno e della club culture nelle loro infinite sfaccettature siano raccontati e rappresentati da opere di artisti visivi.

As a global phenomenon, techno has not only shaped the history of music, but has also set impulses that have an impact on contemporary culture, art, pop culture, media consumption and technologies. In the fields of tension between underground and mainstream, politics and commerce, space and time, TECHNO WORLDS takes up local and global perspectives of techno and dares to experiment with having some important phenomena of techno and club culture told and presented in their infinite facets by works of visual artists.
