In der Gallerie d'Italia in Turin ist vom 22. September 2022 bis zum 22. Januar 2023 eine große monografische Ausstellung zu Ehren von Lisetta Carmi geplant, einer der interessantesten Persönlichkeiten der italienischen Fotoszene, die kürzlich im Alter von 98 Jahren verstorben ist. Die Ausstellung "Lisetta Carmi. Suonare Forte" wird von Giovanni Battista Martini, dem Kurator des Archivs des Fotografen, kuratiert, mit einem wertvollen Videobeitrag, der von Alice Rohrwacher für diesen Anlass erstellt wurde.
Mit dem Projekt "La Grande Fotografia Italiana" (Die große italienische Fotografie), das Roberto Koch, Verleger, Kurator, Fotograf und Organisator kultureller Veranstaltungen rund um die Fotografie, anvertraut wurde, will die Gallerie d'Italia - Turin den Meistern der italienischen Fotografie durch eine Reihe von Ausstellungen Raum geben: "Lisetta Carmi. Suonare Forte" eröffnet die erste dieser Veranstaltungen, die die große italienische Fotografie des 20. Jahrhunderts würdigen soll. Der Titel der Lisetta Carmi gewidmeten Ausstellung verweist auf ihre Ausbildung als Pianistin, aber auch auf ihren Mut, eine andere Richtung einzuschlagen, andere Wege zu gehen und ihrem hartnäckigen Wunsch zu folgen, auch den Letzten eine Stimme zu geben.
Die Ausstellung zeigt mehr als 150 Fotos aus den 1960er und 1970er Jahren, darunter einige der bedeutendsten Werke ihres Schaffens: von der außergewöhnlichen Reportage "I travestiti", die einzigartig ist und in den 1970er Jahren in einer völlig neuen Farbversion zum Kultbuch wurde, über die Dokumentation von Geburten bis hin zu Fotoarbeiten, die der Arbeitswelt in Italien und im Ausland gewidmet sind, und Porträts von Ezra Pound.
Um den gestalterischen Ansatz zu verdeutlichen, ist die Ausstellung in acht Bereiche unterteilt. In zwei davon, in denen die Musik eine zentrale Rolle spielt, ist dank moderner Richtschalltechnik Musik von Luigi Nono und Luigi Dallapiccola zu hören. Darüber hinaus wird die Fotografin selbst während der Ausstellung einige ihrer Werke in kurzen Videos erläutern.
Begleitend zur Ausstellung findet ein öffentliches Programm statt, das die Themen der Sonderausstellung vertieft, erweitert und weiterentwickelt. An den #INSIDE-Treffen, die mittwochs um 18.30 Uhr stattfinden und für die Öffentlichkeit frei zugänglich sind, nehmen Experten und Fachleute teil, um während der abendlichen Öffnungstage des Museums Überlegungen und Ideen auszutauschen.
À la Gallerie d'Italia de Turin, une grande exposition monographique consacrée à Lisetta Carmi, l'une des personnalités les plus intéressantes de la scène photographique italienne, récemment décédée à l'âge de 98 ans, est prévue du 22 septembre 2022 au 22 janvier 2023. L'exposition "Lisetta Carmi. Suonare Forte" est organisé par Giovanni Battista Martini, conservateur des archives du photographe, avec une précieuse contribution vidéo créée pour l'occasion par Alice Rohrwacher.
Avec le projet "La Grande Fotografia Italiana" (la grande photographie italienne) confié à Roberto Koch, éditeur, commissaire d'exposition, photographe et organisateur d'événements culturels autour de la photographie, la Gallerie d'Italia - Turin a pour objectif de donner un espace aux maîtres de la photographie italienne à travers une série d'expositions dédiées : "Lisetta Carmi. Suonare Forte" inaugure le premier de ces rendez-vous destinés à célébrer la grande photographie italienne du XXe siècle. Le titre de l'exposition consacrée à Lisetta Carmi évoque sa formation de pianiste, mais aussi son courage de changer de direction, d'emprunter des chemins différents, de suivre son désir obstiné de donner la parole aux derniers.
L'exposition présentera plus de 150 photos prises entre les années 1960 et 1970, dont certaines des œuvres les plus marquantes de son travail : de l'extraordinaire reportage "I travestiti", unique en son genre et devenu un livre culte dans les années 1970, avec sa toute nouvelle version en couleur, à la documentation de l'accouchement, en passant par des travaux photographiques consacrés au monde du travail en Italie et à l'étranger et des portraits d'Ezra Pound.
Afin de mettre en évidence son approche conceptuelle, l'exposition est divisée en huit sections. Dans deux d'entre eux, dans lesquels la musique joue un rôle fondamental, la technologie moderne de diffusion sonore directionnelle permet d'entendre la musique de Luigi Nono et de Luigi Dallapiccola. En outre, pendant l'exposition, la photographe elle-même racontera certaines de ses œuvres au moyen de courtes vidéos.
L'exposition est accompagnée d'un programme public qui approfondit, amplifie et développe les thèmes de l'exposition temporaire. Les rencontres #INSIDE, les mercredis à 18h30, avec un accès gratuit au public, verront la participation d'experts et de professionnels à une série d'événements, pour partager des réflexions et des idées pendant les journées d'ouverture du musée en soirée.
Alle Gallerie d'Italia di Torino è in programma dal 22 settembre 2022 al 22 gennaio 2023 la grande mostra monografica dedicata a Lisetta Carmi, una delle personalità più interessanti del panorama fotografico italiano, recentemente scomparsa all’età di 98 anni. La mostra “Lisetta Carmi. Suonare Forte” è realizzata con la curatela di Giovanni Battista Martini, curatore dell'archivio della fotografa, con un prezioso contributo video creato per l’occasione da Alice Rohrwacher.
Con il progetto “La Grande Fotografia Italiana” affidato a Roberto Koch, editore, curatore, fotografo e organizzatore di eventi culturali intorno alla fotografia, le Gallerie d’Italia – Torino si propongono di dare spazio ai maestri della fotografia italiana attraverso una serie di mostre dedicate: “Lisetta Carmi. Suonare Forte” inaugura il primo di questi appuntamenti volti a celebrare la grande fotografia italiana del Novecento. Il titolo della mostra dedicata a Lisetta Carmi evoca la sua formazione di pianista ma anche il coraggio di cambiare direzione, di intraprendere percorsi diversi, per seguire la sua ostinata volontà di dare voce agli ultimi.
In mostra saranno presenti oltre 150 foto scattate tra gli anni Sessanta e Settanta, incluse alcune tra le opere più salienti del suo lavoro: dallo straordinario reportage “I travestiti”, unico nel suo genere e diventato negli anni Settanta un libro di culto, con la sua declinazione del tutto inedita a colori, alla documentazione del parto, oltre ai lavori fotografici dedicati al mondo del lavoro in Italia e all’estero e ai ritratti di Ezra Pound.
Per evidenziarne l’approccio progettuale, la mostra è divisa in otto sezioni. In due di queste, in cui la musica gioca un ruolo fondamentale, le moderne tecnologie di diffusione sonora direzionale permettono l’ascolto di brani musicali di Luigi Nono e Luigi Dallapiccola. Nel percorso espositivo, inoltre, sarà la stessa fotografa a raccontare alcuni suoi lavori attraverso dei brevi video.
Ad accompagnare la mostra anche un public program che approfondisce, amplifica e sviluppa i temi trattati dall’esposizione temporanea. Gli incontri #INSIDE, il mercoledì, alle ore 18.30, con accesso gratuito al pubblico, vedranno la partecipazione di esperti e professionisti impegnati in una serie di eventi, per condividere riflessioni e spunti in occasione delle giornate di apertura serale del museo.

The exhibition "Lisetta Carmi. The title of the exhibition dedicated to Lisetta Carmi evokes her training as a pianist but also her courage to change direction, to take different paths, to follow her stubborn desire to give voice to the last.
The exhibition will feature more than 150 photos taken between the 1960s and 1970s, including some of the most salient works of her work: from the extraordinary reportage "I travestiti," the only one of its kind and which became a cult book in the 1970s, with its completely unprecedented color declination, to the documentation of childbirth, as well as photographic works dedicated to the world of work in Italy and abroad and portraits of Ezra Pound.
To highlight its design approach, the exhibition is divided into eight sections. In two of them, in which music plays a key role, modern directional sound diffusion technologies allow listening to musical pieces by Luigi Nono and Luigi Dallapiccola. In the exhibition itinerary, moreover, the photographer herself will narrate some of her works through short videos.
Accompanying the exhibition is also a public program that deepens, amplifies and develops the themes covered by the temporary exhibition. The #INSIDE meetings, on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m., with free public access, will feature experts and professionals engaged in a series of events to share reflections and insights during the museum's evening opening days.
