Die Bildhalle zeigt sechs künstlerische Positionen, welche sich auf unterschiedliche ästhetische Weise mit dem Thema des Ozeans auseinandersetzen.
Seit Jahrtausenden beschäftigt er die Menschen unterschiedlicher Kulturen und findet sein Abbild in zahlreichen Kunstformen. Der Ozean ist der Ursprung des Lebens auf der Erde und gilt auch als Symbol für die grenzenlose Spanne des Lebens. Die unendliche Bewegung seiner Wassermassen symbolisiert darüber hinaus Stabilität. Genauso kann in ihm aber auch die Formlosigkeit und das Chaos, sowie in der Traumdeutung, das kollektive und persönliche Unbewusste verortet werden.
Die Werke von Amy Friend (CA), Martin Bogren (SE) und Thirza Schaap (NL) werden zum ersten Mal in der Schweiz ausgestellt. Das Künstlerduo Albarrán Cabrera (ES) verzaubert uns mit einer neu entwickelten Printtechnik, Jeffrey Conley (US) mit seinen grossformatigen Pigment-Prints auf Kozo-Papier. Mit Sandro Diener zeigt die Bildhalle jenen Fotografen, mit dem die Galerie vor 8 Jahren zum ersten Mal eröffnete. Alle sechs Positionen nehmen jene Perspektive auf, die wir – als Mensch und Betrachter am Ufer stehend – innehaben.
La Bildhalle présente six positions artistiques qui abordent le thème de l'océan de différentes manières esthétiques.
Depuis des millénaires, il occupe des personnes de cultures différentes et trouve son image dans de nombreuses formes d'art. L'océan est à l'origine de la vie sur terre et est également considéré comme un symbole de la durée illimitée de la vie. Le mouvement infini de ses masses d'eau symbolise également la stabilité.
Les œuvres d'Amy Friend (CA), Martin Bogren (SE) et Thirza Schaap (NL) sont exposées en Suisse pour la première fois. Le duo d'artistes Albarrán Cabrera (ES) nous enchante avec une technique d'impression nouvellement développée, Jeffrey Conley (US) avec ses impressions pigmentaires grand format sur papier Kozo. Avec Sandro Diener, la Bildhalle présente le photographe avec lequel la galerie a ouvert ses portes il y a huit ans. Les six positions reprennent la perspective que nous avons, en tant que personnes et spectateurs se tenant sur le rivage.
La Bildhalle presenta sei posizioni artistiche che trattano in diversi modi estetici.
Il tema dell'oceano, che da millenni occupa popoli di diverse culture e trova la sua immagine in numerose forme d'arte. L'oceano è l'origine della vita sulla terra ed è anche considerato un simbolo della durata illimitata della vita. Il movimento infinito delle sue masse d'acqua simboleggia anche la stabilità.
Le opere di Amy Friend (CA), Martin Bogren (SE) e Thirza Schaap (NL) sono esposte per la prima volta in Svizzera. Il duo di artisti Albarrán Cabrera (ES) ci incanta con una nuova tecnica di stampa, Jeffrey Conley (US) con le sue stampe a pigmenti di grande formato su carta Kozo. Con Sandro Diener, Bildhalle espone il fotografo con cui la galleria ha aperto per la prima volta otto anni fa. Tutte e sei le posizioni riprendono la prospettiva che noi - come persone e spettatori in piedi sulla riva - abbiamo.
The Bildhalle shows six artistic positions, which deal with the theme of the ocean in different aesthetic ways.
For millennia, it has preoccupied the people of different cultures and finds its image in numerous art forms. The ocean is the origin of life on earth and is also considered a symbol for the boundless span of life. The endless movement of its water masses also symbolizes stability.
The works of Amy Friend (CA), Martin Bogren (SE) and Thirza Schaap (NL) are exhibited for the first time in Switzerland. The artist duo Albarrán Cabrera (ES) enchants us with a newly developed print technique, Jeffrey Conley (US) with his large-format pigment prints on Kozo paper. With Sandro Diener, Bildhalle shows the photographer with whom the gallery first opened 8 years ago. All six positions take up the perspective that we - as humans and viewers standing on the shore - hold.
