Die in Mainz bekannte Fotografin Kristina Schäfer hat bei ihrer Aufarbeitung der Corona-Situation für Künstler durch eine hypersensible, liebenswerte, kritische und gewitzte Ausstellung überzeugt (2022, "SubSistence"). Aktuell hat sie zwei Themenkomplexe intensiv bearbeitet und dabei erneut eine photoästhetische Position auf der Höhe der Zeit erreicht, die sich einer einfachen Katalogisierung entzieht. Sie verdichtet intensive Wahrnehmungen ihrer Stadtwirklichkeit, die sie bei Spaziergängen aufnimmt, und stellt sie Naturerlebnissen im Gonsenheimer Wald und dem Naturschutzgebiet Grosser Sand gegenüber. Dabei bildet sie unter Verwendung einer Pincap-Lochblende die Realität bewusst unscharf ab. Durch ihre photographische Technik geht das Gegensätzliche von artifizieller Stadtwelt und geschützer Naturlandschaft auf fast gespentische Weise verloren und verschwimmt zu einem einheitlichen Grunderlebnis. "Blur out" bedeutet "Ausblenden". Das Ausblenden der Realität erlebt die Künstlerin als eine allgegenwärtige Überlebensstrategie. Beide Fotoserien dokumentieren die Bedrohung und Zerstörung unseres Lebensraums, wobei das Ausblenden einem Momentum der Rettung und Selbstzerstörung zugleich entspricht. Ähnlich, wie bei ihrer Corona-Ausstellung, gibt es auch hier keine sprachliche Wendung, die ihre intensiven Arbeit adäquat übersetzen kann. Mit „Blur out“ fängt etwas an, dessen Ende wir noch nicht absehen können.
La photographe Kristina Schäfer, bien connue à Mayence, a su convaincre lors de son traitement de la situation de Corona pour les artistes par une exposition hypersensible, attachante, critique et astucieuse (2022, "SubSistence"). Actuellement, elle a travaillé intensément sur deux ensembles de thèmes, atteignant à nouveau une position photoesthétique à la pointe du progrès, qui échappe à un simple catalogage. Elle condense des perceptions intenses de sa réalité urbaine, qu'elle saisit lors de promenades, et les transmet en les confrontant à des expériences naturelles dans la forêt de Gonsenheim et la réserve naturelle du Grosser Sand. Ce faisant, elle reproduit la réalité de manière délibérément floue en utilisant un diaphragme à trou de Pincap. Grâce à sa technique photographique, l'opposition entre le monde artificiel de la ville et le paysage naturel protégé se perd de manière presque spectrale et s'estompe pour ne former qu'une seule et même expérience fondamentale. "Blur out" signifie "masquer". L'artiste vit l'occultation de la réalité comme une stratégie de survie omniprésente. Les deux séries de photos documentent la menace et la destruction de notre espace vital, l'occultation correspondant à la fois à un moment de sauvetage et d'autodestruction. Comme pour son exposition Corona, il n'y a pas ici de tournure linguistique qui puisse traduire de manière adéquate son travail intense. Avec "Blur out", quelque chose commence, dont nous ne pouvons pas encore prévoir la fin.
La nota fotografa Kristina Schäfer ha convinto a Magonza con la sua rivalutazione della situazione Corona per gli artisti con una mostra ipersensibile, accattivante, critica e accorta (2022, "SubSistence"). Attualmente ha lavorato intensamente su due complessi tematici, raggiungendo ancora una volta una posizione fotoestetica all'altezza dei tempi che sfida una facile catalogazione. L'artista condensa le intense percezioni della sua realtà urbana, che registra durante le passeggiate, e le accosta alle esperienze della natura nella foresta di Gonsenheim e nella riserva naturale di Grosser Sand. In questo modo, sfoca deliberatamente la realtà utilizzando un'apertura a spillo. Attraverso la sua tecnica fotografica, il contrasto tra il mondo urbano artificiale e il paesaggio naturale protetto si perde in modo quasi spettrale e si confonde in un'esperienza di base unificata. "Blur out" significa "svanire". L'artista vive l'offuscamento della realtà come una strategia di sopravvivenza onnipresente. Entrambe le serie fotografiche documentano la minaccia e la distruzione del nostro spazio vitale, per cui la sfocatura corrisponde a uno slancio di salvataggio e autodistruzione allo stesso tempo. Come per la mostra di Corona, non esiste un linguaggio che possa tradurre adeguatamente il suo intenso lavoro. Blur out" segna l'inizio di qualcosa di cui non possiamo ancora prevedere la fine.
The photographer Kristina Schäfer, well known in Mainz, has convinced with her reappraisal of the Corona situation for artists through a hyper-sensitive, endearing, critical and shrewd exhibition (2022, "SubSistence"). Currently, she has worked intensively on two thematic complexes, once again achieving a photo-aesthetic position at the height of time that defies easy cataloging. She condenses intense perceptions of her urban reality, which she takes up on walks, and juxtaposes them with experiences of nature in the Gonsenheim Forest and the Grosser Sand nature reserve. In doing so, she deliberately blurs reality using a pin-cap aperture. Through her photographic technique, the dichotomy of artificial urban world and protected natural landscape is lost in an almost ghostly way, blurring into a unified basic experience. "Blur out" means "to fade out." The artist experiences the blurring out of reality as an omnipresent survival strategy. Both photo series document the threat and destruction of our habitat, with blur out corresponding to a momentum of rescue and self-destruction at the same time. Similar, to her Corona exhibition, there is no linguistic twist that can adequately translate her intense work. With "Blur out" something begins whose end we cannot yet foresee.
