Die Ausstellung zeigt Werke aus vier verschiedenen Serien – ‚One Life/Gravity‘, 'Liberation’, 'Invisible Seascape’ und ‚Lucid Dream’. Zu diesem Anlass wird die Ausstellung in der gesamten Galerie zu sehen sein. In den Serien ‘One Life/Gravity’ und ‘Liberation’ wirft Jun Ahn wiederholt Gegenstände wie Äpfel und Steine in die Luft und fotografiert sie mit einer kurzen Belichtungszeit. Während des Bearbeitungsprozesses wählt Ahn dann Bilder aus, wo diese Objekte geradezu in der Luft zu schweben scheinen, als ob sie sich gegen die Schwerkraft und ihr Schicksal selbst auflehnen würden, und versucht dabei, die Transzendenz von Momenten aufzudecken, denen der gesamte Kontext entzogen wurde. Die Serie ‘Invisible Seascape’ erscheint als Bilder von Meereslandschaften. Es sind jedoch Meereslandschaften, die es so in der Natur nicht gibt. Jun Ahn kreiert digital kombinierte Collagen auf der Grundlage von unzähligen Aufnahmen der Wellen in Hochgeschwindigkeit. ‘Lucid Dream’ entstand während der Pandemie, zu einem Zeitpunkt, während welchem das Meer, der Himmel und die Vögel für viele Menschen Symbole der Freiheit und der Träume sind. Die Serie ist eine Hommage an den Traum vom Fliegen, den Jun Ahn seit ihrer Kindheit immer wieder geträumt hat.
L'exposition présente des œuvres de quatre séries différentes : "One Life/Gravity", "Liberation", "Invisible Seascape" et "Lucid Dream". Pour l'occasion, l'exposition sera visible dans toute la galerie. Dans les séries "One Life/Gravity" et "Liberation", Jun Ahn lance à plusieurs reprises des objets tels que des pommes et des pierres dans les airs et les photographie avec un temps d'exposition court. Au cours du processus de montage, Ahn sélectionne ensuite des images où ces objets semblent virtuellement flotter dans l'air, comme s'ils se rebellent contre la gravité et leur destin lui-même, en essayant de révéler la transcendance de moments qui ont été dépouillés de tout contexte. La série "Invisible Seascape" se présente comme des images de paysages marins. Cependant, il s'agit de paysages marins qui n'existent pas comme cela dans la nature. Jun Ahn crée des collages combinés numériquement à partir d'innombrables clichés de vagues à grande vitesse. Lucid Dream" a été créé pendant la pandémie, à une époque où la mer, le ciel et les oiseaux sont des symboles de liberté et de rêve pour de nombreuses personnes. La série est un hommage au rêve de voler, dont Jun Ahn a rêvé à maintes reprises depuis son enfance.
La mostra presenta opere di quattro serie diverse - 'One Life/Gravity', 'Liberation', 'Invisible Seascape' e 'Lucid Dream'. Per l'occasione, la mostra sarà visibile in tutta la galleria. Nelle serie "One Life/Gravity" e "Liberation", Jun Ahn lancia ripetutamente in aria oggetti come mele e pietre e li fotografa con un breve tempo di esposizione. Durante il processo di editing, Ahn seleziona poi immagini in cui questi oggetti sembrano virtualmente galleggiare nell'aria, come se si ribellassero alla gravità e al loro stesso destino, cercando di rivelare la trascendenza di momenti che sono stati spogliati di ogni contesto. La serie "Invisible Seascape" appare come immagini di paesaggi marini. Tuttavia, sono paesaggi marini che non esistono così in natura. Jun Ahn crea collage combinati digitalmente basati su innumerevoli riprese delle onde ad alta velocità. Lucid Dream' è stato creato durante la pandemia, in un momento in cui il mare, il cielo e gli uccelli sono simboli di libertà e sogni per molte persone. La serie è un omaggio al sogno di volare, che Jun Ahn ha sognato ripetutamente fin dalla sua infanzia.
The exhibition features works from four different series - 'One Life/Gravity', 'Liberation', 'Invisible Seascape' and 'Lucid Dream'. For the occasion, the exhibition will be on view throughout the gallery. In the 'One Life/Gravity' and 'Liberation' series, Jun Ahn repeatedly throws objects such as apples and stones into the air and photographs them with a short exposure time. During the editing process, Ahn then selects images where these objects appear to be virtually floating in mid-air, as if rebelling against gravity and their fate itself, attempting to reveal the transcendence of moments that have been stripped of all context. The series 'Invisible Seascape' appears as images of seascapes. However, they are seascapes that do not exist like this in nature. Jun Ahn creates digitally combined collages based on countless shots of the waves at high speed. 'Lucid Dream' was created during the pandemic, at a time when the sea, sky and birds are symbols of freedom and dreams for many people. The series is a tribute to the dream of flying, which Jun Ahn has dreamt over and over again since her childhood.
