In seiner Ausstellungstätigkeit der vergangenen Jahre, hat das Museum im Bellpark bereits zeigen können, dass das hauseigene Archiv eine Reihe wichtiger fotografischer Nachlässe beherbergt, denen unbestritten ein bedeutender historischer Aussagewert zukommt. Bei der Erarbeitung solcher Ausstellungen erfolgt im Vorfeld eine umfangreiche Sichtung des Bildmaterials und eine gezielte Auswahl, die den Intentionen des Projekts gerecht wird oder einen repräsentativen Überblick über den Bestand vermitteln soll. Nur exemplarisch sei an die Fotoausstellungen mit Bildern von Otto Pfeifer oder von Emil Kreis erinnert, deren Nachlass im Archiv Museum im Bellpark aufbewahrt wird.
Überhaupt empfiehlt sich das Abtauchen zum „vordigitalen“ Archivmaterial als eine lohnenswerte Recherchetechnik. Auch wenn man dabei bisweilen einer dezenten Staubschicht auf den Tablaren begegnen kann, ist es hochinteressant, sich in die Gefilde zu begeben, die einer Digitalisierung und Präsentation im digitalen Netz bisher standgehalten haben. Bei einer solchen Recherchereise wird man sehen, dass die Welt doch noch ein Stück grösser ist, als uns die tägliche Benutzung einer Suchmaschine im Netz vermuten lässt. Es ist auch Aufgabe eines Museums, der Öffentlichkeit solche Bestände zugänglich zu machen.
Allerdings ist es so, dass sich nicht aus allen Beständen gleich eine komplette Ausstellung machen lässt. Manchmal sind sie einfach zu klein, um für ein ganzes Projekt zu taugen. Dennoch kann es sich bei den Funden um interessante Kostbarkeiten oder eigentliche Trouvaillen handeln, die in den Archivregalen heimlich nach dem Ausgestelltwerden rufen. Für die kommende Ausstellung haben wir die kleineren fotografischen Bestände des Archivs gesichtet und eine Reihe solcher sehenswerter Fundstücke zusammengestellt. Ihnen wird ein prominenter Platz eingeräumt, auch auf die Gefahr hin, dass die visuelle Präsentation in den Museumsräumen diesmal etwas uneinheitlicher ausfallen wird.
In der Ausstellung vertreten sind Fotografien von Josef Laubacher, Niklaus Grüter, Dominik Jost, Heinz Schwarz, Fabienne Ehrler, Niclas Faure und Max A. Wyss. Das Fotoalbum des Krienser Architekten Otto Zeier hat dabei den Titel für die Ausstellung beigesteuert. Für ihn hat das Fotoatelier Friebel aus Sursee die Gaststätten abgelichtet, deren Einrichtung der Architekt ganz neu im Heimatstil gestaltet hat. Mit ihrer beschaulichen Atmosphäre und den urigen Massivholzmöbeln rufen diese Fotos förmlich nach einer deftigen Mahlzeit – ein Lob der Gemütlichkeit. Wir bedanken uns bei allen, die zum Zustandekommen der Ausstellung beigetragen haben.
Dans ses activités d'exposition de ces dernières années, le Museum im Bellpark a déjà pu montrer que ses propres archives abritent un certain nombre de legs photographiques importants, qui ont sans aucun doute une valeur historique significative. Lors de la préparation de ces expositions, un examen complet du matériel photographique est effectué à l'avance et une sélection spécifique est effectuée qui rend justice aux intentions du projet ou qui vise à fournir un aperçu représentatif des fonds. Les expositions photographiques avec des photos d'Otto Pfeifer ou d'Emil Kreis, dont les biens sont conservés au Archiv Museum im Bellpark, n'en sont que deux exemples.
En général, la plongée dans les archives "pré-numériques" est une technique de recherche intéressante. Même si l'on rencontre parfois une discrète couche de poussière sur les étagères, il est très intéressant de s'aventurer dans les domaines qui ont jusqu'ici résisté à la numérisation et à la présentation sur le web numérique. Lors d'un tel voyage de recherche, on constatera que le monde est encore un peu plus grand que ce que l'utilisation quotidienne d'un moteur de recherche sur le net nous laisserait croire. C'est également la tâche d'un musée de rendre ces collections accessibles au public.
Toutefois, il n'est pas possible de faire une exposition complète de chaque collection. Parfois, ils sont tout simplement trop petits pour convenir à un projet entier. Néanmoins, les trouvailles peuvent être des trésors intéressants ou de véritables trouvailles qui réclament secrètement d'être exposées sur les étagères des archives. Pour la prochaine exposition, nous avons passé au crible les petits fonds photographiques des archives et rassemblé un certain nombre de trouvailles qui valent la peine d'être vues. Une place de choix leur sera accordée, au risque même que la présentation visuelle dans les salles du musée soit cette fois-ci un peu plus disparate.

Fotoatelier Friebel, de Sursee, a photographié pour lui les restaurants dont l'architecte a conçu l'ameublement dans un style local entièrement nouveau. Avec leur atmosphère contemplative et leur mobilier rustique en bois massif, ces photos appellent littéralement à un repas copieux - un éloge à la convivialité. Nous tenons à remercier tous ceux qui ont contribué à l'exposition.
Nell'ambito dell'attività espositiva degli ultimi anni, il Museum im Bellpark ha già potuto dimostrare che il proprio archivio ospita alcuni importanti lasciti fotografici, che hanno indubbiamente un significativo valore storico. Nella preparazione di tali mostre, viene effettuata in anticipo una revisione completa del materiale fotografico e viene effettuata una selezione specifica che rende giustizia alle intenzioni del progetto o che intende fornire una panoramica rappresentativa del patrimonio. Le mostre fotografiche con immagini di Otto Pfeifer o Emil Kreis, i cui possedimenti sono conservati nell'Archiv Museum im Bellpark, sono solo due esempi.
In generale, immergersi nel materiale d'archivio "pre-digitale" è una valida tecnica di ricerca. Anche se occasionalmente si incontra un discreto strato di polvere sugli scaffali, è molto interessante avventurarsi nei regni che finora hanno resistito alla digitalizzazione e alla presentazione sul web digitale. In un viaggio di ricerca di questo tipo, si vedrà che il mondo è ancora un po' più grande di quanto l'uso quotidiano di un motore di ricerca in rete ci porterebbe a credere. È anche compito di un museo rendere tali collezioni accessibili al pubblico.
Tuttavia, non è possibile fare una mostra completa di ogni collezione. A volte sono semplicemente troppo piccole per essere adatte a un intero progetto. Tuttavia, i reperti possono essere dei tesori interessanti o delle vere e proprie trouvailles che gridano segretamente ad essere esposte sugli scaffali dell'archivio. Per la prossima mostra abbiamo setacciato il piccolo patrimonio fotografico dell'archivio e abbiamo raccolto una serie di reperti che meritano di essere visti. A loro sarà dato un posto di rilievo, anche con il rischio che la presentazione visiva nelle sale del museo sia questa volta un po' più disparata.

In its exhibition activities of recent years, the Museum im Bellpark has already been able to show that its own archive houses a number of important photographic estates, which undoubtedly have a significant historical value. In the preparation of such exhibitions, a comprehensive review of the photographic material is carried out in advance and a specific selection is made, which does justice to the intentions of the project or is intended to provide a representative overview of the holdings. The photo exhibitions with pictures by Otto Pfeifer or Emil Kreis, whose estate is kept in the Archive Museum in Bellpark, are just two examples.
In general, diving into the "pre-digital" archive material is a worthwhile research technique. Even if one may occasionally encounter a discreet layer of dust on the shelves, it is highly interesting to venture into the realms that have so far withstood digitization and presentation on the digital web. On such a research trip, one will see that the world is still a bit bigger than the daily use of a search engine on the net would lead us to believe. It is also the task of a museum to make such collections accessible to the public.
However, it is not possible to make a complete exhibition out of every collection. Sometimes they are simply too small to be suitable for a whole project. Nevertheless, the finds can be interesting treasures or actual trouvailles that secretly call out to be exhibited on the archive shelves. For the upcoming exhibition, we have sifted through the archive's smaller photographic holdings and compiled a number of such worthwhile finds. They will be given a prominent place, even at the risk that the visual presentation in the museum rooms will be somewhat more disparate this time.
