Alle zwei Jahre lädt Urbi&Orbi Fotografen und Videokünstler aus der ganzen Welt ein, ihre Visionen von der Stadt einander gegenüberzustellen. Seit seiner Gründung im Jahr 2001 hat Urbi&Orbi in Sedan die Arbeiten von Fotografen wie Pentti Sammallahti, Stéphane Couturier, Thibaud Cuisset und Bernard Plossu willkommen geheißen,
Valérie Jouve.
Die Arbeit von Fotografen und Künstlern verbreiten, die sich mit Fragen rund um die Stadt, unseren Lebensstil und unsere gesellschaftlichen Entscheidungen beschäftigen: Stadtplanung, Bauwesen, Ressourcenschonung, Identität, Gestaltung...
Das Publikum in den kreativen Prozess einbeziehen und es dabei begleiten, die fotografischen Projekte und Künstler der Biennale zu entdecken.
Die Zugehörigkeit zu einem lokalen, nationalen und internationalen Netzwerk von Akteuren stärken, die mit der Welt der zeitgenössischen Fotografie verbunden sind.
Die Produktion zeitgenössischer fotografischer Werke unterstützen.

Diffuser le travail de photographes et d’artistes traitant de questions liées à la ville, à nos modes de vies et choix de société : urbanisme, construction, préservation des ressources, identité, aménagement...
Impliquer les publics dans le processus de création et les accompagner vers la découverte des projets photographiques et des artistes de la biennale.
Renforcer l’appartenance à un réseau local, national et international d’acteurs liés au monde de la photographie contemporaine.
Soutenir la production de créations photographiques contemporaines.
Ogni due anni, Urbi&Orbi invita fotografi e videoartisti di tutto il mondo a confrontare le loro visioni della città. Dalla sua creazione nel 2001, Urbi&Orbi ha accolto a Sedan il lavoro di fotografi come Pentti Sammallahti, Stéphane Couturier, Thibaud Cuisset e Bernard Plossu,
Valérie Jouve e altri.
Presentare il lavoro di fotografi e artisti che si occupano di temi legati alla città, ai nostri stili di vita e alle scelte sociali: pianificazione urbana, edilizia, conservazione delle risorse, identità, sviluppo, ecc.
Coinvolgere il pubblico nel processo creativo e aiutarlo a scoprire i progetti fotografici e gli artisti della Biennale.
Rafforzare il senso di appartenenza a una rete locale, nazionale e internazionale di attori legati al mondo della fotografia contemporanea.
Sostenere la produzione di opere fotografiche contemporanee.

Involve the public in the creative process and help them discover the biennial's photographic projects and artists.
Reinforce membership of a local, national and international network of players linked to the world of contemporary photography.
Support the production of contemporary photographic creations.
