Orient!

ORIENT! stellt Fotograf:innen aus dem Iran, Afghanistan und Pakistan in den Mittelpunkt. Drei Länder, die alle zum persischen Kulturraum gehören. Drei mehrheitlich muslimische Länder mit indoeuropäischen Bevölkerungsgruppen, die den Gesetzen der Religion und des Obskurantismus unterworfen bleiben. Drei Länder, die wir schlecht kennen, obwohl sie die Herzen aller Reisenden wie Marco Polo erobert haben. Drei Länder, deren Fotograf:innen die Verteidiger positiven Denkens und Botschafter des Umweltbewusstseins sind. Drei Länder, die Heimat einer jahrtausendealten Zivilisation sind, einer einzigartigen künstlerischen Kreativität und mutiger Autor:innen, die sich die Fotografie ausgesucht haben, um ihren Platz in der Gesellschaft zu definieren. Fotograf:innen, die aus diesen Ländern stammen haben sich immer dafür entschieden, die Konventionen zu brechen, um einen innovativen Stil zu entwickeln und mit Humanismus durchdrungenen Blick auf Menschen und Götter zu schauen. ORIENT ! transmet des photographes d'Iran, d'Afghanistan et du Pakistan. Trois pays qui appartiennent tous à l'aire culturelle perse. Trois pays majoritairement musulmans avec des populations indo-européennes qui restent soumises aux lois de la religion et de l'obscurantisme. Trois pays que nous connaissons mal, alors qu'ils ont conquis le cœur de tous les voyageurs comme Marco Polo. Trois pays dont les photographes sont les défenseurs de la pensée positive et les ambassadeurs de la conscience écologique. Trois pays qui abritent une civilisation millénaire, une créativité artistique unique et des auteurs courageux qui ont choisi la photographie pour définir leur place dans la société. Les photographes originaires de ces pays ont toujours choisi de briser les conventions pour développer un style innovant et poser un regard empreint d'humanisme sur les hommes et les dieux. ORIENT! si concentra su fotografi provenienti da Iran, Afghanistan e Pakistan. Tre Paesi che appartengono tutti all'area culturale persiana. Tre Paesi prevalentemente musulmani con popolazioni indoeuropee che rimangono soggette alle leggi della religione e dell'oscurantismo. Tre Paesi che conosciamo poco, anche se hanno catturato il cuore di tutti i viaggiatori come Marco Polo. Tre Paesi i cui fotografi sono i difensori del pensiero positivo e gli ambasciatori della consapevolezza ambientale. Tre Paesi che ospitano una civiltà millenaria, una creatività artistica unica e autori coraggiosi che hanno scelto la fotografia per definire il loro posto nella società. I fotografi di questi Paesi hanno sempre scelto di rompere le convenzioni per sviluppare uno stile innovativo e guardare alle persone e agli dei con un occhio umanistico. ORIENT! focuses on photographers from Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Three countries that all belong to the Persian cultural area. Three Muslim-majority countries with Indo-European populations that remain subject to the laws of religion and obscurantism. Three countries that we know poorly, although they have conquered the hearts of all travelers like Marco Polo. Three countries whose photographers are the defenders of positive thinking and ambassadors of environmental awareness. Three countries that are home to a millenary civilization, a unique artistic creativity and courageous authors who have chosen photography to define their place in society. Photographers coming from these countries have always chosen to break the conventions in order to develop an innovative style and look at people and gods with humanism infused.
