Die Ausstellung zeigt 15 Werke aus vier verschiedenen Serien - 'Kawau', 'Sakura', 'Tokyo Parrots' und 'Yusurika' - und erkundet, wie der Künstler die Natur in der urbanen Umgebung mit seiner eigenen, unverwechselbaren fotografischen Sprache einfängt. Seine Fotografien zeigen ein tief verwurzeltes Verständnis dafür, wie Formen, Farben, Texturen und Tiefe auf die Bildebene übertragen werden. Er arbeitet mit einem visuellen Vokabular, das sich durch die Arbeit vieler zeitgenössischer Fotografen etabliert hat. Mizutanis Arbeiten sind Ausdruck der visuellen Tropen und fotografischen Stile, die unter jungen Fotografen in Japan weit verbreitet sind.
Yoshinori Mizutani lebt und arbeitet in Tokio. Er schloss 2012 das Tokyo College of Photography ab. Seitdem hat er zahlreiche renommierte Auszeichnungen gewonnen untern anderem 2013 den Japan Photo Award, 2014 wurde er zudem als FOAM Talent und unter die Lens Culture Emerging Talents Top 50 gewählt. Seit 2012 hat er in vielen internationalen Institutionen in Japan, China, Belgien, Grossbritannien, Italien und der Schweiz ausgestellt und u.a. die Bücher ‘Tokyo Parrots’, ‘Colors’, ‘Yusurika’ und ‘Hanon’ veröffentlicht.
L'exposition présente 15 œuvres issues de quatre séries différentes - 'Kawau', 'Sakura', 'Tokyo Parrots' et 'Yusurika' - et explore la manière dont l'artiste capture la nature dans l'environnement urbain avec son propre langage photographique distinctif. Ses photographies révèlent une compréhension profondément enracinée de la manière dont les formes, les couleurs, les textures et la profondeur sont transposées au niveau de l'image. Il travaille avec un vocabulaire visuel qui s'est établi à travers le travail de nombreux photographes contemporains. Le travail de Mizutani est l'expression des tropismes visuels et des styles photographiques largement répandus parmi les jeunes photographes au Japon.
Yoshinori Mizutani vit et travaille à Tokyo. Il est diplômé du Tokyo College of Photography en 2012. Depuis, il a remporté de nombreux prix prestigieux, dont le Japan Photo Award en 2013, et a également été élu Talent FOAM et parmi les 50 meilleurs talents émergents de Lens Culture en 2014. Depuis 2012, il a exposé dans de nombreuses institutions internationales au Japon, en Chine, en Belgique, en Grande-Bretagne, en Italie et en Suisse, et a publié entre autres les livres 'Tokyo Parrots', 'Colors', 'Yusurika' et 'Hanon'.
La mostra presenta 15 opere di quattro serie diverse - "Kawau", "Sakura", "Tokyo Parrots" e "Yusurika" - ed esplora il modo in cui l'artista cattura la natura nell'ambiente urbano con il suo caratteristico linguaggio fotografico. Le sue fotografie mostrano una profonda comprensione di come forme, colori, texture e profondità si traducono sul piano dell'immagine. Lavora con un vocabolario visivo che è stato stabilito dal lavoro di molti fotografi contemporanei. Il lavoro di Mizutani è espressione dei tropi visivi e degli stili fotografici prevalenti tra i giovani fotografi giapponesi.
Yoshinori Mizutani vive e lavora a Tokyo. Si è laureato al Tokyo College of Photography nel 2012. Da allora ha vinto numerosi premi prestigiosi, tra cui il Japan Photo Award nel 2013, e nel 2014 è stato anche selezionato come FOAM Talent e uno dei Lens Culture Emerging Talents Top 50. Dal 2012 ha esposto in numerose istituzioni internazionali in Giappone, Cina, Belgio, Regno Unito, Italia e Svizzera e ha pubblicato, tra gli altri, i libri "Tokyo Parrots", "Colors", "Yusurika" e "Hanon".
The exhibition features 15 works from four different series - 'Kawau', 'Sakura', 'Tokyo Parrots' and 'Yusurika' - and explores how the artist captures nature in the urban environment with his own distinctive photographic language. His photographs show a deep-rooted understanding of how shapes, colors, textures and depth translate to the picture plane. He works with a visual vocabulary that has been established by the work of many contemporary photographers. Mizutani's work is an expression of the visual tropes and photographic styles prevalent among young photographers in Japan.
