Eine sensible Linie, in der sich zwei Künstlerinnen begegnen: Sujung Han, eine koreanische Fotografin, und Gaëlle Villedary, eine französische Künstlerin.
Beide untersuchen und beobachten die Natur...
Sujung Han fotografiert die Pflanzen, um nur ein Tuch zu bewahren. Gaëlle Villedary sammelt minutiös, zeichnet dann und transzendiert die Pflanzen.
Wie eine Hommage an die Natur eröffnet uns diese sensible Linie neue Perspektiven...
Sujung Han: Unsere Welt besteht aus natürlichen und künstlichen Linien, die mit den Spuren des Menschen oder der Natur in Verbindung gebracht werden. In der Malerei ist die Qualität der Linie wichtig, ob sie nun kurvig, gerade, dick oder dünn ist. Sie ist ein Synonym für Reinheit. In der Fotografie stützt sich der Künstler auf Kraft- und Fluchtlinien, um mit dem Licht zu schreiben. Sujung Han fängt diese Linien ein, indem er gewöhnliche Pflanzen erkundet. Die natürliche Kurve der Pflanze wird so zum zentralen Thema. Die Fotografin spielt wie ein Maler mit diesen Linien, der Fülle und der Leere und lässt uns das Wesen der Natur sehen. Indem sie sich die Technik des Bichromat-Gummis (Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts in Europa populär) zu eigen macht, enthüllt ihre Hand das Bild wie ein Aquarellist. Indem sie eine einzige Farbe aufträgt, konzentriert sich Sujung Han auf die eingefangene Form. So enthüllt uns die Fotografin die für unsere Augen fast unsichtbare Natur, die der Welt des Künstlers eigen ist.
Gaëlle Villedary: Gaëlle Villedarys künstlerischer Ansatz wird von einer zwingenden Sensibilität für die Natur und einer humanistischen Ethik getragen, die alles berücksichtigt, was unser Planet zu bieten hat, weil sie ihn gewissenhaft und sorgfältig beobachtet. [...] Getragen von ihrer unersättlichen Neugier, drückt sie ihren Sinn für Ästhetik und ihre immense Geduld aus, indem sie sowohl mit dem rohen Material als auch mit der delikaten Operation umgeht. [...] Alles ist in der Natur, scheint sie abschließend zu sagen, in diesem dichten Busch, der zwischen den Stäben eines Käfigs eingeschlossen ist: So rätselhaft wie der "Garten der Lüste" von J. Bosch (dem sie im Titel ihres Werks eine diskrete Hommage erweist), lädt uns Gaëlle Villedarys "Jardin des lices" dazu ein, in diesem Gehege, das auch die Fantasien unseres Innenraums widerspiegeln kann, die Geheimnisse der Natur oder die unserer Intimität zu entdecken: Man muss nur suchen! Chacune scrute, observe la nature…
Sujung Han photographie les plantes pour n'en préserver qu'un linge. Gaëlle Villedary collecteminutieusement, puis dessine et transcende le végétal.
Comme un hommage à la nature, cette sensible ligne nous ouvre de nouvvelles perspectives…
Sujung Han : Notre univers est composé de lignes naturelles et artificielles, associées à l’empreinte de l’homme ou à la nature. En peinture, la qualité de la ligne est importante, courbe, droite, épaisse ou fine. Elle est synonyme de pureté. En photographie, l’artiste s’appuie sur des lignes de force, de fuite pour écrire avec la lumière. Sujung Han capte ses lignes, en explorant les plantes communes. La courbe naturelle du végétal devient alors le sujet central. Jouant comme un peintre, avec ces lignes, le plein, le vide, la photographe nous donne à voir l’essence de la nature. S’appropriant la technique de la gomme bichromate (populaire en Europe à la fin du 19e siècle), sa main révèle l’image tel un aquarelliste. En appliquant une seule couleur, Sujung Han se concentre sur la forme capturée. Ainsi la photographe nous révèle cette nature presque invisible à nos yeux, propre a l’univers de l’artiste.
Gaëlle Villedary: La démarche artistique de Gaëlle Villedary est sous-tendue par une sensibilité à la nature impérieuse et une éthique humaniste qui tiennent compte de tout ce qu’offre notre planète, parce qu’elle l’observe scrupuleusement et minutieusement. [...] Portée par son insatiable curiosité, elle exprime son sens de l’esthétique et son immense patience en maniant aussi bien le matériau brut que l’opération délicate. [...] Tout est dans la nature, semble-t-elle dire, en conclusion, dans ce buisson touffu enfermé entre les barreaux d’une cage : aussi énigmatique que « Le Jardin des délices » de J.Bosch (auquel elle rend un hommage discret dans le titre qu’elle donne à son oeuvre), Le Jardin des lices de Gaëlle Villedary nous invite à découvrir, dans cet enclos qui peut aussi refléter les fantasmes de notre espace intérieur, les secrets de la nature ou ceux de notre intimité : il suffit de chercher ! Sujung Han fotografa le piante per conservarne solo una tela. Gaëlle Villedary raccoglie, poi disegna e trascende la pianta.
Come un omaggio alla natura, questa linea sensibile apre nuove prospettive...
Sujung Han: Il nostro universo è composto da linee naturali e artificiali, associate all'impronta dell'uomo o della natura. In pittura, la qualità della linea è importante: curva, dritta, spessa o sottile. È sinonimo di purezza. Nella fotografia, l'artista si affida a linee di forza, di fuga per scrivere con la luce. Sujung Han cattura queste linee esplorando piante comuni. La curva naturale della pianta diventa quindi il soggetto centrale. Giocando come un pittore, con queste linee, il pieno e il vuoto, il fotografo ci fa vedere l'essenza della natura. Appropriandosi della tecnica del bicromato di gomma (popolare in Europa alla fine del XIX secolo), la sua mano rivela l'immagine come un acquerellista. Applicando un unico colore, Sujung Han si concentra sulla forma catturata. In questo modo, il fotografo ci rivela la natura quasi invisibile ai nostri occhi, che fa parte dell'universo dell'artista.
Gaëlle Villedary: L'approccio artistico di Gaëlle Villedary è sostenuto da una sensibilità imperiosa per la natura e da un'etica umanista che tiene conto di tutto ciò che il nostro pianeta ha da offrire, perché lo osserva scrupolosamente e meticolosamente. [...] Spinta dalla sua insaziabile curiosità, esprime il suo senso estetico e la sua immensa pazienza maneggiando sia la materia prima che la delicata operazione. [...] Tutto è in natura, sembra dire, in conclusione, in questo cespuglio di arbusti racchiuso tra le sbarre di una gabbia: enigmatico come il "Giardino delle delizie" di J. Bosch (al quale rende un discreto omaggio nel titolo che dà alla sua opera), "Le Jardin des lices" (Il giardino dei lice) di Gaëlle Villedary ci invita a scoprire, in questo recinto che può anche riflettere le fantasie del nostro spazio interiore, i segreti della natura o quelli della nostra intimità: basta guardare! Sujung Han photographs the plants to preserve only a linen. Gaëlle Villedary collectsminutiausement, then draws and transcends the plant.
Like a tribute to nature, this sensitive line opens new perspectives...
Sujung Han : Our universe is composed of natural and artificial lines, associated with the imprint of man or nature. In painting, the quality of the line is important, curved, straight, thick or thin. It is synonymous with purity. In photography, the artist relies on lines of force, of escape to write with the light. Sujung Han captures these lines by exploring common plants. The natural curve of the plant then becomes the central subject. Playing like a painter, with these lines, the full, the empty, the photographer gives us to see the essence of nature. Appropriating the gum bichromate technique (popular in Europe at the end of the 19th century), her hand reveals the image like a watercolorist. By applying a single color, Sujung Han focuses on the captured form. Thus the photographer reveals to us this nature almost invisible to our eyes, specific to the universe of the artist.
Gaëlle Villedary: Gaëlle Villedary's artistic approach is underpinned by an imperious sensitivity to nature and a humanist ethic that takes into account all that our planet has to offer, because she observes it scrupulously and meticulously. [...] Driven by her insatiable curiosity, she expresses her sense of aesthetics and her immense patience in handling both the raw material and the delicate operation. [...] Everything is in nature, she seems to say, in conclusion, in this bushy bush enclosed between the bars of a cage: as enigmatic as "The Garden of Delights" of J.Bosch (to whom she pays a discreet homage in the title she gives to her work), The Garden of the Lices of Gaëlle Villedary invites us to discover, in this enclosure which can also reflect the fantasies of our interior space, the secrets of nature or those of our intimacy: it is enough to seek!
