Das Musée des Beaux-Arts in Le Locle freut sich, die Gruppenausstellung Le plaisir du texte zu präsentieren, die einen Rundgang über die Beziehung zwischen Bildern und Wörtern in der Kunst bietet. Der Titel, inspiriert von Roland Barthes' gleichnamigem Buch (1973), suggeriert eine intime und viszerale Erkundung unserer Beziehung zum geschriebenen Wort.
Der Rundgang beginnt mit dem Thema der Lesefreude durch einen Dialog zwischen Meisterwerken aus der Sammlung des MBAL und Projekten von eingeladenen zeitgenössischen Künstlern-e-x-s. Die Reise geht weiter in Richtung einer langsamen und allmählichen verbalen Invasion des Bildes. Das Gedicht befreit sich und wird zum Objekt im Raum, der der konkreten und visuellen Poesie gewidmet ist; der Algorithmus der Software ordnet den Satz allein an; der städtische Raum und die Slogans der Werbung werden in einem Pop-Universum zweckentfremdet; die Interpunktionszeichen tauchen als Skulptur auf, während das Manuskript von Mary Shelleys Frankenstein sich in der Fotografie materialisiert. Alle Räume des Museums werden durch diese textlichen, visuellen und typografischen Spiele belebt und sogar die Fassade des Museums wird in Beschlag genommen. Die Kinder sprechen und denken in einem Raum, der für sie geschaffen wurde.
Angesichts der ständigen Bilderflut in unserem Alltag bekräftigt diese reichhaltige und spielerische Ausstellung die Kraft der Worte und lädt das Publikum ein, ihre Vorstellungswelt zu erkunden.

Le Musée des Beaux-Arts du Locle est ravi de présenter l’exposition collective Le plaisir du texte, qui propose un parcours sur la relation entre les images et les mots dans l’art. Le titre, inspiré du livre éponyme de Roland Barthes (1973), suggère une exploration intime et viscérale de notre rapport à l’écrit.
Le parcours s’ouvre sur le thème du plaisir de la lecture à travers un dialogue entre des chefs-d’œuvre de la collection du MBAL et des projets d’artistes contemporain·e·x·s invité·e·x·s. Le voyage se poursuit vers une lente et graduelle invasion verbale de l’image. Le poème se libère et devient un objet dans la salle dédiée à la poésie concrète et visuelle ; l’algorithme des logiciels agence seul la phrase ; l’espace urbain et les slogans de la publicité se détournent de leurs usages dans un univers pop ; les signes de ponctuation surgissent en sculpture quand le manuscrit de Frankenstein de Mary Shelley se matérialise en photographie. Toutes les salles du musée s’animent de ces jeux textuels, visuels et typographiques, investissant jusqu’à sa façade. Les enfants s’expriment et réfléchissent dans un espace conçu pour elleux.
Face au flux continu des images dans notre quotidien, cette exposition riche et ludique réaffirme la force des mots et invite le public à explorer leur imaginaire.

Il Musée des Beaux-Arts du Locle è lieto di presentare la mostra collettiva Le plaisir du texte, che propone un viaggio attraverso il rapporto tra immagini e parole nell'arte. Il titolo, ispirato all'omonimo libro di Roland Barthes (1973), suggerisce un'esplorazione intima e viscerale del nostro rapporto con la parola scritta.
La mostra si apre con il tema del piacere della lettura attraverso un dialogo tra capolavori della collezione MBAL e progetti di artisti contemporanei invitati. Il viaggio prosegue verso una lenta e graduale invasione verbale dell'immagine. La poesia si libera e diventa oggetto nella sala dedicata alla poesia concreta e visiva; l'algoritmo del software organizza da solo la frase; lo spazio urbano e gli slogan pubblicitari sono sottratti ai loro usi in un universo pop; i segni di punteggiatura emergono nella scultura, mentre il manoscritto di Frankenstein di Mary Shelley si materializza nella fotografia. Tutte le sale del museo si animano di questi giochi testuali, visivi e tipografici, fino a occuparne la facciata. I bambini si esprimono e riflettono in uno spazio pensato per loro.
Di fronte al flusso continuo di immagini nella nostra vita quotidiana, questa mostra ricca e giocosa riafferma il potere delle parole e invita il pubblico a esplorare la propria immaginazione.

The Musée des Beaux-Arts du Locle is delighted to present the group exhibition Le plaisir du texte, which proposes an exploration of the relationship between images and words in art. The title, inspired by Roland Barthes' book of the same name (1973), suggests an intimate and visceral exploration of our relationship to the written word.
The exhibition opens with the theme of the pleasure of reading through a dialogue between masterpieces from the MBAL collection and projects by invited contemporary artists. The journey continues towards a slow and gradual verbal invasion of the image. The poem is liberated and becomes an object in the room dedicated to concrete and visual poetry; the algorithm of the software arranges alone the sentence; the urban space and the slogans of the advertisement are diverted from their uses in a pop universe; the signs of punctuation appear in sculpture when the manuscript of Frankenstein of Mary Shelley materializes in photography. All the rooms of the museum are animated by these textual, visual and typographical games, and even the façade is taken over. The children express themselves and reflect in a space designed for them.
Faced with the continuous flow of images in our daily lives, this rich and playful exhibition reaffirms the power of words and invites the public to explore their imagination.
