Im Palazzo Reale findet die erste italienische Einzelausstellung von Jimmy Nelson statt, einem der interessantesten und international wichtigsten Fotografen der zeitgenössischen Szene.
Das von der Stadt Mailand geförderte Ausstellungsprojekt wird von Palazzo Reale und Skira Editore in Zusammenarbeit mit der Jimmy Nelson Foundation produziert und von Nicolas Ballario und Federica Crivellaro kuratiert.
Der 1967 in England geborene Jimmy Nelson hat sein Leben zahlreichen Reisen um die Welt gewidmet, um einige der am stärksten bedrohten indigenen Kulturen zu fotografieren und ihre Geschichten, ihre Emotionen und die traditionellen Bräuche und Traditionen zu erzählen, die trotz der fortschreitenden und aufdringlichen Globalisierung unseres Planeten erhalten geblieben sind.
Jimmy Nelson. Humanity ist eine außergewöhnliche Reise in die Schönheit der Menschheit anhand von 65 großformatigen Fotografien, die zu seinen bekanntesten und berühmtesten Werken auf der ganzen Welt gehören. Aber nicht nur das, durch den Ausstellungsrundgang wird es tatsächlich möglich sein, in das Werk des Künstlers einzutauchen und seine intimste und tiefste Bedeutung zu erfassen.

Le projet d'exposition, promu par la ville de Milan, est produit par Palazzo Reale et Skira Editore, en collaboration avec la Fondation Jimmy Nelson et sous la direction de Nicolas Ballario et Federica Crivellaro.
Né en Angleterre en 1967, Jimmy Nelson a consacré sa vie à de nombreux voyages à travers le monde pour photographier certaines des cultures indigènes les plus menacées, en racontant leurs histoires, leurs émotions et les coutumes et traditions traditionnelles qui ont été préservées malgré la mondialisation progressive et imposante de notre planète.
Jimmy Nelson. Humanity est un voyage extraordinaire dans la beauté de l'humanité à travers 65 grandes photographies appartenant à ses œuvres les plus célèbres et célébrées à travers le monde, mais pas seulement, à travers le parcours de l'exposition il sera en effet possible de s'immerger dans l'œuvre de l'artiste en ayant l'opportunité d'en saisir le sens le plus intime et le plus profond.

Il progetto espositivo, promosso dal Comune di Milano, è prodotto da Palazzo Reale e Skira Editore, in collaborazione con la Jimmy Nelson Foundation e la curatela di Nicolas Ballario e Federica Crivellaro.
Nato in Inghilterra nel 1967 Jimmy Nelson ha dedicato la sua vita a numerosissimi viaggi nel mondo per fotografare alcune delle culture indigene più a rischio di estinzione raccontando le loro storie, le loro emozioni e gli usi e costumi tradizionali che si sono preservati nonostante la progressiva e imponente globalizzazione del nostro pianeta.
