Die Ausstellung wird in Zusammenarbeit mit Rjma Progetti Culturali, Wall of Sound Gallery und SM-Art sowie mit Beiträgen von Epson Italia, Berné, Ci quadro, Lavezzo Studios, Creation und Radio Monte Carlo realisiert.
Die Ausstellung wird durch eine Installation eingeleitet, die Mailand gewidmet ist, den großen Persönlichkeiten der Mailänder Kunst, Kultur und Gesellschaft, die Harari in seiner 50-jährigen Karriere getroffen hat. In der Ausstellung wird auch die "Magic Cave" zu sehen sein, eine spezielle Fotokulisse, in der Guido Harari Porträts machen wird (Online-Reservierung erforderlich). Neben dem Originalabzug, den er selbst signiert und den Porträtierten schenkt, wird ein zweiter Abzug in Echtzeit in der abschließenden Sektion Occhi di Milano (Augen von Mailand) ausgestellt, einer Art "Ausstellung in der Ausstellung", die nach und nach von den Blicken der Stadt bevölkert wird. Und um sie alle zu repräsentieren, wird Harari "hängende Porträts" der "weniger glücklichen" Mailänder im "Enzo Jannacci"-Heim, dem Istituto dei Tumori und anderen Pflegeeinrichtungen anfertigen. Diese "hängenden Porträts" werden auch dem großen Mosaik der Mailänder Augen hinzugefügt.
Die Ausstellung zeichnet alle Etappen der vielseitigen Karriere von Guido Harari nach: von seinen Anfängen in der Musikbranche als Fotograf und Journalist über die zahlreichen Plattencover für Künstler wie Fabrizio De André, Bob Dylan, Vasco Rossi, Kate Bush, Paolo Conte, Lou Reed und Frank Zappa bis hin zur Bestätigung eines Werks, das im Laufe der Zeit von einem Genre zum anderen wechselte - Verlagswesen, Werbung, Mode, Reportage - und dabei immer das Porträt als intimes Zeugnis der Begegnungen mit den großen Persönlichkeiten seiner Zeit bevorzugte.
Die Ausstellung beginnt in den 1970er Jahren, als Harari, noch ein Teenager, begann, seine beiden großen Leidenschaften zu verbinden: Musik und Fotografie.
Nie zuvor gezeigte Bilder und Sequenzen, alte Backstage-Aufnahmen, Video-Interviews, die ihm gewidmete Sky Arte-Dokumentation und der Audioguide mit Hararis eigener Erzählerstimme führen den Besucher in das Herz seines kreativen Prozesses.
Die Ausstellung enthält auch einen Bereich, der seiner parallelen Leidenschaft für das Kuratieren von Büchern gewidmet ist, die als eine Art "Fotografie ohne Kamera" gedacht sind, sowie Gelegenheiten für alte und neue Begegnungen (wie die illustrierten Biografien, die Fabrizio De André, Fernanda Pivano, Mia Martini, Giorgio Gaber und Pier Paolo Pasolini gewidmet sind) und einen weiteren Bereich, der unveröffentlichten "Forschungs"-Bildern gewidmet ist, die Harari seit einigen Jahren als seine persönliche Form der Meditation im Prozess produziert.

L'exposition sera introduite par une installation dédiée à Milan, aux grandes personnalités de l'art, de la culture et de la société milanaise que Harari a rencontrées au cours de ses 50 ans de carrière. L'exposition comprendra également la "Magic Cave", une installation photographique spéciale où Guido Harari réalisera des portraits (réservation en ligne obligatoire). Outre le tirage original, qu'il signera lui-même et remettra aux personnes représentées, un second tirage sera exposé - en temps réel - dans la section qui clôt l'exposition, Occhi di Milano (Yeux de Milan), une sorte d'"exposition dans l'exposition" qui sera peu à peu peu peuplée par les regards de la ville. Et pour les représenter tous, Harari réalisera des "portraits suspendus" des Milanais "moins fortunés" du foyer "Enzo Jannacci", de l'Istituto dei Tumori et d'autres structures d'accueil. Ces "portraits suspendus" seront également ajoutés à la grande mosaïque des Yeux de Milan.
L'exposition retrace toutes les étapes de la carrière éclectique de Guido Harari : de ses débuts dans l'industrie musicale en tant que photographe et journaliste, aux nombreuses pochettes de disques pour des artistes tels que Fabrizio De André, Bob Dylan, Vasco Rossi, Kate Bush, Paolo Conte, Lou Reed et Frank Zappa, jusqu'à l'affirmation d'une œuvre qui, au fil du temps, a oscillé d'un genre à l'autre - édition, publicité, mode, reportage - en privilégiant toujours le portrait comme récit intime des rencontres avec les grandes personnalités de son temps.
L'exposition débute dans les années 1970, lorsque Harari, encore adolescent, commence à combiner ses deux grandes passions : la musique et la photographie.
Des images et des séquences inédites, des images vintage des coulisses, des interviews vidéo, le documentaire de Sky Arte qui lui est consacré et l'audioguide avec la voix du narrateur Harari lui-même conduisent le visiteur au cœur de son processus créatif.
L'exposition comprend également une section consacrée à sa passion parallèle pour la conservation de livres, conçue comme une forme de "photographie sans appareil photo", ainsi que des occasions de rencontres anciennes et nouvelles (comme les biographies illustrées consacrées à Fabrizio De André, Fernanda Pivano, Mia Martini, Giorgio Gaber et Pier Paolo Pasolini) et une autre consacrée aux images "de recherche" inédites que Harari produit depuis quelques années comme une forme personnelle de méditation en cours.

La mostra sarà introdotta da una istallazione dedicata a Milano, ai grandi personaggi dell’arte, della cultura e della società milanese che Harari ha incontrato nel corso dei suoi 50 anni di carriera. Nella mostra sarà inoltre allestita la “Caverna magica”, uno speciale set fotografico dove Guido Harari realizzerà dei ritratti (su prenotazione on line). Oltre alla stampa originale, che lui stesso firmerà e consegnerà a chi è stato ritratto, una seconda stampa verrà esposta – in tempo reale – nella sezione che chiude la mostra, Occhi di Milano, una sorta di “mostra nella mostra” che si popolerà via via degli sguardi della città. E per rappresentarli tutti, Harari realizzerà dei “ritratti sospesi” ai milanesi “meno fortunati” nella Casa dell’accoglienza “Enzo Jannacci”, nell’Istituto dei Tumori e in altre strutture di assistenza. Anche questi “ritratti sospesi” andranno ad aggiungersi al grande mosaico degli Occhi di Milano.
La mostra ripercorre tutte le fasi della eclettica carriera di Guido Harari: dagli esordi in ambito musicale come fotografo e giornalista, alle numerose copertine di dischi per artisti come Fabrizio De André, Bob Dylan, Vasco Rossi, Kate Bush, Paolo Conte, Lou Reed, Frank Zappa, fino all’affermazione di un lavoro che nel tempo è rimbalzato da un genere all’altro – editoria, pubblicità, moda, reportage – privilegiando sempre il ritratto come racconto intimo degli incontri con le maggiori personalità del suo tempo.
Il percorso espositivo prende le mosse dagli anni Settanta, quando Harari, ancora adolescente, inizia a coniugare le sue due grandi passioni: la musica e la fotografia.
Immagini e sequenze inedite, insieme a filmati d’epoca di backstage, videointerviste, il documentario di Sky Arte a lui dedicato e l’audioguida con la voce narrante dello stesso Harari conducono il visitatore nel cuore del suo processo creativo.
La mostra propone anche una sezione dedicata alla passione parallela per la curatela di libri intesi come una forma di “fotografia senza macchina fotografica”, oltre che occasioni di incontri vecchi e nuovi (così le biografie illustrate dedicate a Fabrizio De André, Fernanda Pivano, Mia Martini, Giorgio Gaber e Pier Paolo Pasolini) e un’altra dedicata a immagini inedite “di ricerca” che Harari va realizzando da qualche anno come sua personale forma di meditazione in progress

The exhibition will be introduced by an installation dedicated to Milan, the great figures of Milanese art, culture and society that Harari has encountered during his 50-year career. The exhibition will also feature the "Magic Cave," a special photographic set where Guido Harari will take portraits (online booking required). These "suspended portraits" will also be added to the great mosaic of the Eyes of Milan.
The exhibition traces all the stages of Guido Harari's eclectic career: from his beginnings in the field of music as a photographer and journalist, to the numerous record covers for artists such as Fabrizio De André, Bob Dylan, Vasco Rossi, Kate Bush, Paolo Conte, Lou Reed, and Frank Zappa, to the affirmation of a work that over time has bounced from one genre to another - publishing, advertising, fashion, reportage - always favoring portraiture as an intimate account of his encounters with the major personalities of his time.
The exhibition itinerary starts from the 1970s, when Harari, still a teenager, began to combine his two great passions: music and photography.
Never-before-seen images and sequences, along with vintage backstage footage, video interviews, Sky Arte's documentary dedicated to him and an audio guide with the narrator's voice of Harari himself lead the visitor into the heart of his creative process.
The exhibition also features a section dedicated to his parallel passion for curating books intended as a form of "photography without a camera," as well as opportunities for old and new encounters (thus the illustrated biographies dedicated to Fabrizio De André, Fernanda Pivano, Mia Martini, Giorgio Gaber and Pier Paolo Pasolini) and another dedicated to unpublished "research" images that Harari has been making for the past few years as his personal form of meditation in progress
