Die Galerie Bene Taschen freut sich, ab sofort den Künstler Josef Achrer (geboren 1982 in Prag/Tschechische Republik) zu präsentieren und gleichzeitig die erste gemeinsame Solo Show „Escapology“ anzukündigen.
Mit Hilfe verschiedener Techniken und Medien arbeitet Achrer im Bereich Malerei und Fotografie. In seinen Dataistischen Werken treffen spontane Wendungen, Formen und Umkehrungen aufeinander. Durch den Einsatz von Farbe und die Verbindung zwischen traditioneller Malerei und fotografischen Prozessen entstehen Fotogramme, die auf den ersten Blick wie Gemälde scheinen. Komplex und feinmaschig zugleich, bringt der Künstler in mehreren Schichten die Informationen, Daten und Materialien zusammen. Und auch wenn der vermeidliche „Pinselstrich“ z.T. erratisch erscheint, so ist alles bis ins kleinste Detail aufeinander abgestimmt: die Analyse des Lichts, die Deckkraft, die Farbe und die Komposition.
Josef Achrer beschreibt eine Philosophie, die durch die aufkommende Bedeutung von Big Data entstanden ist. Sein Ziel ist es, Kunstwerke zu schaffen, die eine einzigartige Vision eines wiederum zeitlosen Mediums darstellen. Während die meisten traditionellen Fotogramme dafür bekannt sind, abstrakte Formen oder bloße Umrisse von Objekten darzustellen, hat Achrer einen Weg gefunden, seine Fotogramme auf das Niveau seiner Gemälde zu heben.
La galerie Bene Taschen est heureuse de présenter dès à présent l'artiste Josef Achrer (né en 1982 à Prague/République tchèque) et d'annoncer en même temps le premier spectacle solo commun "Escapology".
À l'aide de différentes techniques et médias, Achrer travaille dans le domaine de la peinture et de la photographie. Dans ses œuvres dataistiques, des tournures spontanées, des formes et des inversions se rencontrent. L'utilisation de la couleur et l'association entre la peinture traditionnelle et les processus photographiques donnent naissance à des photogrammes qui, à première vue, semblent être des tableaux. Complexe et finement maillé à la fois, l'artiste rassemble en plusieurs couches les informations, les données et les matériaux. Et même si le supposé "coup de pinceau" semble en partie erratique, tout est coordonné jusque dans les moindres détails : l'analyse de la lumière, l'opacité, la couleur et la composition.
Josef Achrer décrit une philosophie née de l'importance naissante du big data. Son objectif est de créer des œuvres d'art qui représentent une vision unique d'un médium à nouveau intemporel. Alors que la plupart des photogrammes traditionnels sont connus pour représenter des formes abstraites ou de simples contours d'objets, Achrer a trouvé le moyen de hisser ses photogrammes au niveau de ses peintures.

Utilizzando una varietà di tecniche e media, Achrer lavora nel campo della pittura e della fotografia. Nelle sue opere datiste si uniscono torsioni, forme e inversioni spontanee. Grazie all'uso del colore e alla connessione tra pittura tradizionale e processi fotografici, vengono creati fotogrammi che a prima vista sembrano dipinti. Complesso e finemente intessuto allo stesso tempo, l'artista riunisce informazioni, dati e materiali in diversi strati. E anche se l'apparente "pennellata" sembra a volte irregolare, tutto è coordinato fin nei minimi dettagli: l'analisi della luce, l'opacità, il colore e la composizione.
Josef Achrer descrive una filosofia nata dall'importanza emergente dei Big Data. Il suo obiettivo è creare opere d'arte che rappresentino una visione unica di un mezzo che è, a sua volta, senza tempo. Mentre la maggior parte dei fotogrammi tradizionali è nota per la rappresentazione di forme astratte o di semplici contorni di oggetti, Achrer ha trovato un modo per elevare i suoi fotogrammi al livello dei suoi dipinti.

Using a variety of techniques and media, Achrer works in painting and photography. In his Dataist works, spontaneous twists, forms and inversions come together. Through the use of color and the connection between traditional painting and photographic processes, photograms emerge that at first glance seem like paintings. Complex and finely woven at the same time, the artist brings together the information, data and materials in several layers. And even if the apparent "brushstroke" sometimes appears erratic, everything is coordinated down to the smallest detail: the analysis of the light, the opacity, the color and the composition.
Josef Achrer describes a philosophy that has emerged as a result of the emerging importance of Big Data. His goal is to create artworks that represent a unique vision of what is, in turn, a timeless medium. While most traditional photograms are known for depicting abstract shapes or mere outlines of objects, Achrer has found a way to elevate his photograms to the level of his paintings.
