Wie kann eine Buchseite in den dreidimensionalen Raum übersetzt werden? Die Gruppenausstellung BOOK_SPACES stellt Buchprojekte aus unterschiedlichen Kulturräumen vor und rückt die partizipativen und demokratischen Möglichkeiten des Mediums in den Fokus.
Die Künstler:innen übersetzen die Seiten mithilfe performativer und installativer Praktiken in den musealen und städtischen Raum und machen im Zusammenspiel von Fotografi e mit Film, Sound, Text, Zeichnung und Performance die Vielschichtigkeit der gezeigten Perspektiven sichtbar. Die Auseinandersetzung mit Familiengeschichte(n), der eigenen Identität und deren Wahrnehmung innerhalb der Gesellschaft sowie das Hinterfragen von stereotypen Bildwelten und sozialen Rollenmustern sind Themenfelder der Ausstellung.

Comment une page de livre peut-elle être traduite dans un espace tridimensionnel ? L'exposition de groupe BOOK_SPACES transmet des projets de livres issus de différents espaces culturels et met l'accent sur les possibilités participatives et démocratiques du média.
Les artistes traduisent les pages à l'aide de pratiques performatives et installatives dans l'espace muséal et urbain et rendent visible la complexité des perspectives présentées en combinant la photographie avec le film, le son, le texte, le dessin et la performance. L'exposition aborde la question de l'histoire(s) familiale(s), de l'identité personnelle et de sa perception au sein de la société ainsi que la remise en question des images stéréotypées et des modèles de rôles sociaux.

Come si può tradurre la pagina di un libro in uno spazio tridimensionale? La mostra collettiva BOOK_SPACES presenta progetti di libri provenienti da diversi spazi culturali e si concentra sulle possibilità partecipative e democratiche del mezzo.
Gli artisti traducono le pagine in spazi museali e urbani con l'aiuto di pratiche performative e installative e rendono visibile la complessità delle prospettive mostrate nell'interazione tra fotografia, film, suono, testo, disegno e performance. I temi della mostra sono l'esame della storia familiare, della propria identità e della sua percezione all'interno della società, nonché la messa in discussione di immagini stereotipate e di modelli di ruolo sociale.

How can a book page be translated into three-dimensional space? The group exhibition BOOK_SPACES presents book projects from different cultural spaces and focuses on the participatory and democratic possibilities of the medium.
The artists translate the pages into the museum and urban space with the help of performative and installative practices and make the complexity of the perspectives shown visible in the interplay of photography with film, sound, text, drawing and performance. The exhibition's themes are the examination of family history(s), one's own identity and its perception within society, as well as the questioning of stereotypical image worlds and social role patterns.
