Die Ausstellung «Marokko» ist eine visuelle Kulturvermittlung im Kontext der analogen Fotografie, mit dem Fokus auf die Lebenswelten der marokkanischen Arbeiterschicht. Vor dem Hintergrund zweier unterschiedlicher Zugänge, ermöglichen die beiden Schaffhauser Fotografen Andreas Kessler und Armin Sommer mit ihren Aufnahmen in Schwarzweiß und Farbe, ein jeweils unterschiedliches Gefühl für das Leben rund um den Atlas. Über die klassische Fotografie auf Film, deren Eigenheiten mit dem Alltag im nordwestlichsten Teil Afrikas in übertragenem Sinne verbunden sind, nimmt ihre Arbeit sowohl die Zeit als auch die Entwicklung als relative Komponenten auf und schließt den Bogen von Thema und Medium in anregender Weise.
L'exposition "Maroc" est une médiation culturelle visuelle dans le contexte de la photographie analogique, avec un accent sur le monde de la vie de la classe ouvrière marocaine. Sur fond de deux approches différentes, les deux photographes schaffhousois Andreas Kessler et Armin Sommer, avec leurs photos en noir et blanc et en couleur, donnent chacun un sentiment différent de la vie autour de l'atlas. Par le biais de la photographie classique sur pellicule, dont les particularités sont figurativement liées à la vie quotidienne dans la partie la plus septentrionale de l'Afrique, leur travail reprend le temps et le développement comme composantes relatives et ferme l'arc du sujet et du médium d'une manière stimulante.
La mostra "Marocco" è una mediazione culturale visiva nel contesto della fotografia analogica, con un focus sui mondi di vita della classe operaia marocchina. Sullo sfondo di due approcci diversi, i due fotografi di Sciaffusa Andreas Kessler e Armin Sommer, con le loro fotografie in bianco e nero e a colori, permettono ognuno una sensazione diversa della vita intorno all'atlante. Attraverso la fotografia classica su pellicola, le cui idiosincrasie sono figurativamente legate alla vita quotidiana nella parte più nord-occidentale dell'Africa, il loro lavoro riprende sia il tempo che lo sviluppo come componenti relative e chiude l'arco del soggetto e del mezzo in modo stimolante.
The exhibition "Morocco" is a visual cultural mediation in the context of analog photography, with a focus on the lifeworlds of the Moroccan working class. Against the background of two different approaches, the two Schaffhausen photographers Andreas Kessler and Armin Sommer with their photographs in black and white and color, each allow a different sense of life around the atlas. Through classical photography on film, whose peculiarities are figuratively connected to everyday life in the most northwestern part of Africa, their work takes up both time and development as relative components and closes the arc of subject and medium in a stimulating way.
