Porsche-Fotografien gibt es viele. Die CAPITIS Studios in Berlin zeigen in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Autor Bastian Fuhrmann erstmals Arbeiten, die von den Menschen hinter dem Sportwagenkult erzählen. Seien es frühe schwarz-weiß Aufnahmen kurz nach Firmengründung, private Bilder von James Dean, die nach aufwendigen Restaurierungsarbeiten durch die japanische Seita Ohnishi Collection erstmalig als Fine Art Prints zur Ausstellung stehen, Momente hautnah aus der Boxengasse von Le Mans oder Portraits der Firmengründer selbst: jede Arbeit erzählt von einer tiefen Leidenschaft zur Marke und lässt sie in einem ungewohnten Licht erscheinen.
Die internationale Schau präsentiert Arbeiten von Alexander Babic, Robert Brembeck, Frank Kayser, Anatol Kotte, Bart Kuykens, Chris Labrooy, André Lotterer, Edward Quinn, Sanford H. Roth, Amy Shore u.v.m.
Sie wird mit freundlicher Unterstützung von CEWE, ILFORD, Leica Camera und LFI – Leica Fotografie International realisiert.
There are many Porsche photographs. In collaboration with the author Bastian Fuhrmann, the CAPITIS Studios / Berlin is presenting, for the first time, works that focus on the people behind the sports car cult. Be it through early black and white shots shortly after the company ́s founding, private pictures of James Dean, exhibited as fine art prints for the first time after an extensive restoration work by the Japanese Seita Ohnishi Collection, close ups from the pit lane of Le Mans or portraits of the company founders themselves: each work documents a deep passion for the brand and makes it appears in an unfamiliar light.
The international show presents photo works by Alexander Babic, Robert Brembeck, Frank Kayser, Anatol Kotte, Bart Kuykens, Chris Labrooy, André Lotterer, Edward Quinn, Sanford H. Roth, Amy Shore and others.
