L’Homme et la Mer
16 Ausstellungen, darunter 2 mit alten Fotos, mehr als 350 Fotos. 4 Monate lang ist der Hafen von Guilvinec-Léchiagat die Bühne für ein völlig kostenloses Ereignis, 24 Stunden am Tag. Genießen Sie einen fotografischen Spaziergang rund um das Hafengebiet von Guilvinec-Léchiagat. Die Straßen, Plätze und Hauswände verwandeln sich in ein Museum, um Bilder zum Schwingen zu bringen, die über ein universelles Thema geteilt werden können: die Beziehungen zwischen Mensch und Meer.
Auch im 13. Jahr bleibt das Fotofestival von demselben Willen beseelt: die Beziehungen zwischen Mensch und Meer durch die Vielfalt der fotografischen Sichtweisen zu feiern. Das Thema hat seinen Ursprung in der lokalen Geschichte und beginnt in Le Guilvinec, macht aber weder dort noch an den Grenzen Frankreichs Halt. Das Ziel der Ausstellungen besteht darin, die Verbindungen zwischen Mensch und Meer in allen Breitengraden und zu allen Zeiten zu erforschen.
Seit seiner Gründung hat das Festival auch den Ehrgeiz, die fotografische Kunst, die Kunst überhaupt, für alle zugänglich zu machen. Die Entscheidung für eine Ausstellung unter freiem Himmel, bei der die beiden Gemeinden vier Monate lang, von Juni bis September, in kostenlose Galerien verwandelt werden, ermöglicht es, auf die unterschiedlichsten Bevölkerungsgruppen zuzugehen.
Die Ausgabe 2023 wird von zwei Neuheiten geprägt sein.
Zum ersten Mal hat das Festival beschlossen, ein Land zu ehren und ihm einen Teil der Ausstellungen zu widmen. Chile wird dieses erste Land sein. In Verbindung mit dem Fotofestival von Valparaíso, dem mythischen chilenischen Hafen, wird das Festival am Ufer von Léchiagat fünf chilenische Fotografen begrüßen, die anhand verschiedener Problematiken das Chile nach der Diktatur erkunden: Rodigro Gomez Rovira, Cristobal Olivares, Sébastian Rojas, Colectivo Migrar, Résidences Valparaiso.
Darüber hinaus hat das Festival beschlossen, die Arbeiten von vier Fotografen auszustellen: Julie BOURGES, Olivier JOBARD, Romain LAURENDEAU, Lorraine TURCI, die Gewinner des großen Fotoauftrags Radioscopie de la France, der vom Kulturministerium organisiert und von der BNF (Bibliothèque Nationale de France) geleitet wird. Diese vier Ausstellungen verbinden das Fotofestival mit der Traversée photographique de la Bretagne, einer Initiative des FRAC Bretagne (Fonds Régional d'Art Contemporain).
Im Herzen von Le Guilvinec werden die Besucher die Werke von Gaston BAILO (5 Meilen), Mathias DEPARDON (Gold Rivers), Irène JONAS (la saga des baras), Tanguy LOUVIGNY (les Mers Fendues), Andrew MCCONNELL (Gaza Surf Club) und Frédéric MERY (Ama San) wiederfinden.
Zur Eröffnung des Festivals gehören auch die Ausstellungen der Arbeiten von Schülern der vier Collèges des Pays Bigouden und des Lycée Maritime. Die im Laufe des Schuljahres durchgeführten Arbeiten ermöglichen es ihnen, jedes Jahr auf ihre Weise ihre Kreativität und ihre eigene Sensibilität für das Thema des Festivals zum Ausdruck zu bringen.
Das Festival setzt seine Rolle als Gedächtnisvermittler fort: die Geschichte der Männer, Frauen und ihrer Berufe in Guilvinec und Léchiagat.
Schließlich werden wir in Zusammenarbeit mit der Plattform Wipplay die Gewinner des Fotowettbewerbs entdecken: "Côté Atlantique, de Douarnenez à Rio de Janeiro" (Atlantikküste, von Douarnenez bis Rio de Janeiro).
16 expositions dont 2 de photos anciennes, plus de 350 photos, pendant 4 mois, le port du Guilvinec-Léchiagat est la scène d’un événement totalement gratuit, 24H/24. Profitez d’une promenade photographique autour de l’espace portuaire du Guilvinec-Léchiagat. Les rues, les places, les murs des maisons se transforment en musée, pour faire vibrer des images, à partager sur une thématique universelle : les relations entre l’Homme et la Mer.
Pour la 13ème année, le Festival photo reste animé de la même volonté : célébrer les liens entre l’Homme et la Mer à travers la diversité des regards photographiques. Si cette thématique tire son origine de l’histoire locale en commençant au Guilvinec elle ne s’y arrête pas, ni aux frontières de la France. L’objectif des expositions réside dans l’exploration des liens de l’homme et de la mer sous toutes les latitudes et à toutes les époques.
Depuis son lancement, le festival garde aussi pour ambition de mettre l’art photographique, l’art tout court, à la portée de tous. Le choix d’une exposition à ciel ouvert, en transformant les 2 communes en galeries gratuites pendant 4 mois, de juin à septembre, permet d’aller à la rencontre des populations les plus diverses.
L’édition 2023 sera marquée par 2 nouveautés.
Pour la 1ère fois, le festival a décidé de mettre à l’honneur un pays en lui consacrant une partie des expositions. Le Chili sera ce premier pays. En lien avec le Festival photo de Valparaiso, mythique port chilien, le festival ac- cueillera, sur la rive de Léchiagat, 5 photographes chiliens qui, à travers diverses problématiques, défrichent un Chili post dictature : Rodigro Gomez Rovira, Cristobal Olivares, Sébastian Rojas, Colectivo Migrar, Résidences Valparaiso.
Par ailleurs, le festival a choisi d’exposer les travaux de 4 photographes, Julie BOURGES, Olivier JOBARD, Romain LAURENDEAU, Lorraine TURCI, lauréats de la Grande commande photographique, Radioscopie de la France organisée par le Ministère de la Culture et pilotée par la BNF (Bibliothèque Nationale de France). Ces 4 expositions relient le Festival photo à la Traversée photographique de la Bretagne, une initiative du FRAC Bretagne (Fonds Régional d’Art Contemporain).
Au cœur du Guilvinec, les visiteurs retrouveront les œuvres de Gaston BAILO (5 miles), Mathias DEPARDON (Gold Rivers), Irène JONAS (la saga des baras), Tanguy LOUVIGNY (les Mers Fendues), Andrew MCCONNELL (Gaza Surf Club), Frédéric MERY (Ama San).
L’ouverture du festival, c’est aussi les expositions des travaux des élèves des 4 collèges du pays bigouden et du lycée maritime. Les travaux menés durant l’année scolaire leur permettent d’exprimer à leur manière chaque année leur créativité, leur sensibilité propre sur la thématique du festival.
Le festival poursuit son rôle de passeur de mémoire : l’histoire des hommes, des femmes et de leurs métiers au Guilvinec et à Léchiagat.
Enfin, en collaboration avec la plateforme Wipplay, nous découvrirons les lauréats du concours photos : « Côté Atlantique, de Douarnenez à Rio de Janeiro »

Godetevi una passeggiata fotografica nell'area portuale di Guilvinec-Léchiagat. Le strade, le piazze e i muri delle case si trasformano in un museo, per far vibrare le immagini, per condividere un tema universale: il rapporto tra l'uomo e il mare.
Per il 13° anno, il Photo Festival rimane guidato dallo stesso desiderio: celebrare i legami tra l'uomo e il mare attraverso la diversità dei punti di vista fotografici. Se questo tema ha origine nella storia locale, a partire da Guilvinec, non si ferma lì, né ai confini della Francia. L'obiettivo delle mostre è quello di esplorare i legami tra l'uomo e il mare a tutte le latitudini e in tutti i tempi.
Fin dalla sua nascita, il festival ha avuto anche l'ambizione di rendere l'arte fotografica, e l'arte in generale, accessibile a tutti. La scelta di una mostra all'aperto, trasformando i due comuni in gallerie libere per 4 mesi, da giugno a settembre, permette al festival di raggiungere le popolazioni più diverse.
L'edizione 2023 sarà caratterizzata da 2 novità.
Per la prima volta, il festival ha deciso di onorare un Paese dedicandogli una parte delle mostre. Il primo Paese sarà il Cile. In collegamento con il Valparaiso Photo Festival, il mitico porto cileno, il festival accoglierà, sulle rive del Lechiagat, 5 fotografi cileni che, attraverso varie tematiche, stanno sdoganando un Cile post-dittatura: Rodigro Gomez Rovira, Cristobal Olivares, Sébastian Rojas, Colectivo Migrar, Résidences Valparaiso.
Inoltre, il festival ha scelto di esporre il lavoro di 4 fotografi, Julie BOURGES, Olivier JOBARD, Romain LAURENDEAU, Lorraine TURCI, vincitori della Grande Commissione Fotografica, Radioscopia di Francia organizzata dal Ministero della Cultura e pilotata dalla BNF (Bibliothèque Nationale de France). Queste 4 mostre collegano il Photo Festival alla Traversée photographique de la Bretagne, un'iniziativa del FRAC Bretagne (Fonds Régional d'Art Contemporain).

L'apertura del festival è anche la mostra dei lavori degli studenti dei 4 collegi del paese di Bigouden e del liceo marittimo. Il lavoro svolto durante l'anno scolastico permette loro di esprimere ogni anno a modo loro la propria creatività, la propria sensibilità sul tema del festival.
Il festival continua il suo ruolo di trasmettitore di memoria: la storia degli uomini, delle donne e dei loro mestieri a Guilvinec e Léchiagat.
Infine, in collaborazione con la piattaforma Wipplay, scopriremo i vincitori del concorso fotografico: "Côté Atlantique, de Douarnenez à Rio de Janeiro".

Enjoy a photographic walk around the port area of Guilvinec-Léchiagat. The streets, squares, walls of houses are transformed into a museum, to make images vibrate, to share on a universal theme: the relationship between Man and the Sea.
For the 13th year, the Photo Festival remains animated by the same desire: to celebrate the links between Man and the Sea through the diversity of photographic views. If this theme has its origin in local history, starting in Guilvinec, it does not stop there, nor at the borders of France. The objective of the exhibitions lies in the exploration of the links between man and the sea under all latitudes and at all times.
Since its inception, the festival has also had the ambition to make photographic art, and art in general, accessible to all. The choice of an open-air exhibition, by transforming the 2 communes into free galleries during 4 months, from June to September, allows to go to the meeting of the most diverse populations.

For the first time, the festival has decided to honor a country by dedicating a part of the exhibitions to it. Chile will be this first country. In connection with the Valparaiso Photo Festival, the mythical Chilean port, the festival will welcome, on the shore of Lechiagat, 5 Chilean photographers who, through various issues, clear a post-dictatorship Chile: Rodigro Gomez Rovira, Cristobal Olivares, Sebastian Rojas, Colectivo Migrar, Residences Valparaiso.
