Das 2004 ins Leben gerufene Festival Photo La Gacilly bietet jedem seiner jährlich 310.000 Besucher ein eindringliches und spazierfähiges Erlebnis im Herzen von etwa dreißig großformatigen Freiluftgalerien und präsentiert das Beste des zeitgenössischen Fotoschaffens mit einem ständigen Bemühen um hohe künstlerische Standards.
Die zum Teil rund 70 Quadratmeter großen Leinwände bedecken die Straßen, Gärten und Gassen von La Gacilly, das sich in ein "Dorf in den Bildern" verwandelt hat, dessen prachtvolles bauliches Erbe einen perfekten Rahmen für die mehr als 1.000 ausgestellten Bilder bietet und durch die Werke der 23 ausgestellten Fotografen aufgewertet wird.
Der öffentliche Raum wird zu einem szenischen Raum, der gemeinsam genutzt wird und für alle kostenlos zugänglich ist. So kann sich das Festival rühmen, von einem Publikum aus treuen Kennern ebenso verfolgt zu werden wie von einem Publikum aus völligen Neulingen. Sie profitiert von einer starken und beständigen Sympathie für ihr vielfältiges Publikum.

Créé en 2004, le Festival Photo La Gacilly offre à chacun de ses désormais 310 000 visiteurs annuels une expérience immersive et déambulatoire au coeur d’une trentaine de galeries à ciel ouvert et en grand format, présentant le meilleur de la création photo contemporaine dans un souci permanent de grande exigence artistique.
Les toiles avoisinant parfois 70 mètres carré habillent ainsi les rues, les jardins et les venelles de La Gacilly, métamorphosé en « village dans les images », dont le magnifique patrimoine bâti offre un écrin parfait aux plus de 1000 images exposées autant qu’il est valorisé par les oeuvres des 23 photographes présentés.
L’espace public devient un espace scénique, partagé et accessible à tous, gratuitement. Le Festival peut ainsi se prévaloir d’être suivi par un public de fidèle connaisseurs autant que par un public de complets néophytes. Il bénéficie auprès de ses publics variés d’un capital sympathie fort et constant.

Creato nel 2004, il Festival Photo La Gacilly offre a ciascuno dei suoi 310.000 visitatori annuali un'esperienza immersiva e itinerante nel cuore di una trentina di gallerie all'aperto di grande formato, presentando il meglio della creazione fotografica contemporanea con una costante attenzione per gli elevati standard artistici.
Le tele, alcune delle quali di circa 70 metri quadrati, coprono le strade, i giardini e i vicoli di La Gacilly, che è stata trasformata in un "villaggio nelle immagini", il cui magnifico patrimonio edilizio offre una cornice perfetta per le oltre 1.000 immagini esposte, oltre ad essere valorizzato dalle opere dei 23 fotografi in mostra.
Lo spazio pubblico diventa uno spazio scenico, condiviso e accessibile a tutti, gratuito. Il Festival può così vantarsi di essere seguito da un pubblico di fedeli intenditori e da un pubblico di neofiti. Essa beneficia di una forte e costante simpatia tra il suo variegato pubblico.

Created in 2004, the Festival Photo La Gacilly offers each of its 310,000 annual visitors an immersive and walking experience in the heart of some thirty large-format open-air galleries, presenting the best of contemporary photo creation with a permanent concern for high artistic standards.
The canvases, some of which are around 70 square metres, cover the streets, gardens and alleyways of La Gacilly, which has been transformed into a "village in the pictures", whose magnificent built heritage provides a perfect setting for the more than 1,000 images on display, as well as being enhanced by the works of the 23 photographers on show.
The public space becomes a scenic space, shared and accessible to all, free of charge. The Festival can thus pride itself on being followed by an audience of faithful connoisseurs as well as by a public of complete neophytes. It benefits from a strong and constant sympathy for its varied audiences.
