Festival della Fotografia etica di Lodi

Das Ethical Photography Festival entstand 2010 aus einer Idee der Gruppo Fotografico Progetto Immagine, einer gemeinnützigen Vereinigung mit Sitz in Lodi, mit dem Ziel, die Aufmerksamkeit der breiten Öffentlichkeit auf Inhalte von großer ethischer Relevanz zu lenken und ihr soziale Themen näher zu bringen.
Wir sind davon überzeugt, dass die Fotografie nach wie vor ein unverzichtbares Instrument ist, um auf soziale Ungerechtigkeiten in der Welt aufmerksam zu machen, und wir wollen die Beziehung zwischen Ethik, Kommunikation und Fotografie durch ein innovatives und abwechslungsreiches Festival hervorheben.
Ein reichhaltiges Programm mit Ausstellungen von preisgekrönten internationalen Fotojournalisten wird begleitet von thematischen Treffen, Workshops, Lesungen von Portfolios, Videovorführungen, Führungen, Autorengesprächen, Buchpräsentationen, Bildungsprojekten für Studenten und vielen anderen Initiativen.
Wir veranstalten auch einen internationalen Wettbewerb, den World Report Award|Documenting Humanity. Er bietet nicht nur die Möglichkeit, Fotografen, die sich in diesem schwierigen Bereich der Fotografie engagieren, finanziell zu unterstützen, sondern auch eine Möglichkeit, sich einer Gemeinschaft anzuschließen, die wir in den letzten 10 Jahren aufgebaut haben und die aus Fachleuten in diesem Bereich besteht, die mit unserer Organisation zusammenarbeiten.
Seit seiner ersten Ausgabe widmet das Ethical Photography Festival der Nutzung der Fotografie durch Organisationen, die sich mit sozial sensiblen Themen beschäftigen, besondere Aufmerksamkeit. Der Bereich, der den gemeinnützigen Organisationen gewidmet ist, ist ein spezieller Bereich, der für die Präsentation von Fotoarbeiten reserviert ist, die von gemeinnützigen Akteuren bei Fotografen in Auftrag gegeben wurden, und in dem die NGOs eine wichtige Lobbyarbeit entwickeln können.
Neben der jährlichen Veranstaltung, die jedes Jahr im Herbst (September und Oktober) stattfindet, arbeitet die Festivalorganisation täglich daran, die Arbeit der Fotografen bekannt zu machen und ihren Stimmen durch zahlreiche andere Initiativen Gehör zu verschaffen, wie z. B. das Wanderfestival, Ausstellungen, die in Lodi konzipiert und kuratiert werden und durch Italien und Europa reisen.
Le Festival de la photographie éthique est né en 2010 d'une idée du Gruppo Fotografico Progetto Immagine, une association à but non lucratif basée à Lodi, dans le but d'attirer l'attention du grand public sur des contenus d'une grande pertinence éthique, en le rapprochant des questions sociales.
Nous pensons que la photographie reste un outil essentiel pour mettre en lumière l'injustice sociale dans le monde et nous voulons souligner la relation entre l'éthique, la communication et la photographie par le biais d'un festival innovant et diversifié.
Un riche programme d'expositions de photojournalistes internationaux primés est accompagné de réunions thématiques, d'ateliers, de lectures de portfolios, de projections vidéo, de visites guidées, de conférences d'auteurs, de présentations de livres, de projets éducatifs pour les étudiants et de bien d'autres initiatives.
Nous organisons également un concours international, le World Report Award|Documenting Humanity. Il s'agit non seulement d'une opportunité de soutenir financièrement les photographes engagés dans ce domaine difficile de la photographie, mais aussi d'un moyen de rejoindre une communauté que nous avons construite au cours des dix dernières années et qui est composée de professionnels du domaine qui collaborent avec notre organisation.
Depuis sa première édition, le festival Ethical Photography a accordé une attention particulière à l'utilisation de la photographie par des organisations traitant de questions socialement sensibles. L'espace dédié aux organisations à but non lucratif est une section spéciale réservée à la présentation d'œuvres photographiques commandées à des photographes par des acteurs à but non lucratif, où les ONG peuvent développer une importante activité de plaidoyer.
Outre l'événement annuel qui a lieu chaque automne (septembre et octobre), l'organisation du festival travaille quotidiennement pour s'assurer que le travail des photographes est partagé et que leurs voix sont entendues grâce à de nombreuses autres initiatives telles que le festival itinérant, des expositions qui sont conçues et organisées à Lodi et qui voyagent à travers l'Italie et l'Europe.
Il Festival della Fotografia Etica nasce nel 2010 da un’idea del Gruppo Fotografico Progetto Immagine, associazione no-profit con sede a Lodi, con l’intento di focalizzare l’attenzione del grande pubblico su contenuti di grande rilevanza etica, avvicinandolo a tematiche sociali.
Crediamo che la fotografia sia tuttora uno strumento vitale per accendere un faro sull’ingiustizia sociale nel mondo e vogliamo sottolineare il rapporto tra etica, comunicazione e fotografia attraverso un festival innovativo e diversificato.
Un ricco programma di mostre di fotoreporter internazionali pluripremiati, si accompagna a incontri tematici, workshop, letture portfolio, videoproiezioni, visite guidate, talk d’autore, presentazioni di libri, progetti educational per studenti e tante altre iniziative.
Organizziamo inoltre un concorso internazionale, il World Report Award|Documenting Humanity. Non solo un’opportunità per sostenere economicamente i fotografi impegnati in questo difficile settore della fotografia, ma un modo per entrare in una comunità che abbiamo costruito nel corso degli ultimi 10 anni composta da professionisti del settore che collaborano con la nostra organizzazione.
Sin dalla sua prima edizione, il Festival della Fotografia Etica ha dedicato particolare attenzione all’utilizzo della fotografia da parte di organizzazioni che si occupano di tematiche sensibili dal punto di vista sociale. Lo spazio dedicato alle organizzazioni no profit, è una sezione speciale riservata alla presentazione di lavori fotografici commissionati ai fotografi dagli attori del no profit dove le ONG possono sviluppare un’importante attività di advocacy.
Oltre all’evento annuale che si svolge ogni autunno (settembre e ottobre), l’organizzazione del Festival lavora quotidianamente per far si che il lavoro dei fotografi sia condiviso e le loro voci ascoltate attraverso numerose altre iniziative quali il Travelling Festival, mostre che sono ideate e curate a Lodi e viaggiano in giro per l’Italia e l’Europa.
The Festival of Ethical Photography was born in 2010 from an idea of the nonprofit organization Gruppo Fotografico Progetto Immagine, based in Lodi, Italy, with the intention of focusing on ethical content of great relevance, bringing the general public closer to social issues.
We believe photography is a vital tool in communicating the reality of social injustice around the world and we want to emphasize the relationship between ethics, communication and photography through an innovative and diverse festival.
Thanks to a rich program of exhibitions by international and award-winning photojournalists, there are meetings, workshops, portfolio reviews, video-projections, guided tours, authour talks, book presentations, educational projects for students and numerous other events.
We also organize an international contest, the World Report Award|Documenting Humanity. It isn’t simply a contest that through its prizes economically supports those who are actively engaged in this difficult sector of photography, but it also represents a way for all participants to enter into a community we have built over the past 10 years and composed of professionals who are already collaborating with our organization.
Since its first year, the Festival of Ethical Photography has always given particular attention to the use of photography by those organisations that deal with social issues. For this reason there is a special section completely dedicated to the nonprofit world that is reserved for the presentation of photographic works commissioned to photographers by nonprofit organisations and where NGOs can organize advocacy activities.
Other than the annual event taking place every fall (September and October), the organization of the Festival works daily to make sure that the photographers’ work is seen and their voices heard thanks to several initiatives such as the Travelling Festival, exhibits ideated and curated in Lodi that travel all over Italy and Europe.
