Riga Photomonth ist ein internationales Kunst- und Fotofestival, das seit 2014 in der Hauptstadt Lettlands stattfindet. Riga Photomonth versucht, auf aktuelle Ereignisse zu reagieren, die uns lokal und global betreffen, und erkundet neue Wege, um über Fotografie zu sprechen. Das öffentliche Programm des Festivals umfasst Ausstellungen, Performances, öffentliche Kunstaktionen, Künstlergespräche, Diskussionen und Filmvorführungen.
Der Riga Photomonth wird von der Vereinigung Riga Photomonth in Zusammenarbeit mit dem FK Magazine und anderen Partnern organisiert. Der Rigaer Fotomonat 2022 wird u. a. von der Staatlichen Kulturhauptstadtstiftung unterstützt. Seit 2015 wird das Festival von Arnis Balčus geleitet.
Riga Photomonth est un festival international d'art et de photographie qui se déroule depuis 2014 dans la capitale de la Lettonie. Riga Photomonth tente de réagir aux événements actuels qui nous affectent localement et globalement, et explore de nouvelles façons de parler de la photographie. Le programme public du festival comprend des expositions, des performances, des actions artistiques publiques, des discussions entre artistes, des débats et des projections de films.
Le Riga Photomonth est organisé par l'association Riga Photomonth en collaboration avec FK Magazine et d'autres partenaires. Le Mois de la photo de Riga 2022 est soutenu, entre autres, par la Fondation d'État pour la capitale culturelle. Depuis 2015, le festival est dirigé par Arnis Balčus.
Riga Photomonth è un festival internazionale di arte e fotografia che si tiene nella capitale della Lettonia dal 2014. Riga Photomonth cerca di rispondere agli eventi attuali che ci riguardano a livello locale e globale, ed esplora nuovi modi di parlare di fotografia. Il programma pubblico del festival include mostre, performance, azioni di arte pubblica, discorsi di artisti, discussioni e proiezioni di film.
Il Riga Photomonth è organizzato dalla Riga Photomonth Association in collaborazione con FK Magazine e altri partner. Il Riga Photomonth 2022 è sostenuto, tra gli altri, dalla State Cultural Capital Foundation. Dal 2015, il festival è diretto da Arnis Balčus.
Riga Photomonth is an international art & photography festival that takes place in the capital of Latvia since 2014. Riga Photomonth tries to respond to current events that affect us locally and globally, and explores new ways to talk about photography. The festival’s public programme includes exhibitions, performances, public art activities, artist talks, discussions and screenings.
Riga Photomonth is organized by the association Riga Photomonth in collaboration with FK Magazine and other partners. Riga Photomonth 2022 is kindly supported by the State Culture Capital Foundation and others. Since 2015 the festival director is Arnis Balčus.
