Lawrence Carroll Photographs ist die sechzehnte Ausstellung im ehemaligen Kindergarten von Bruzella, dem Sitz der Rolla Foundation.
Philip und Rosella Rolla sammeln seit Jahren Carrolls Bildwerke und präsentieren nun sein erstes fotografisches Projekt.
Lawrence Carroll gilt als einer der führenden Vertreter der zeitgenössischen Kunst. Sein Werk, oft an der Grenze zwischen Malerei und Skulptur, ist von einem poetischen Gefühl und einem autobiografischen Abdruck durchdrungen, der sich in seinem fotografischen Werk widerspiegelt.
Das Projekt entstand nach einer langen Reise durch die Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika in eine neue Stadt und ein neues Zuhause.
Lawrence Carroll Photographs è la sedicesima mostra ospitata nell’ex scuola d’infanzia di Bruzella, sede della Fondazione Rolla.
Philip e Rosella Rolla, che da anni collezionano l’opera pittorica di Carroll, ora presentano il suo primo progetto fotografico.
Lawrence Carroll è considerato un esponente di rilievo dell’arte contemporanea internazionale. Il suo lavoro, spesso al limite tra pittura e scultura, è pervaso da un sentimento poetico e un’impronta autobiografica che si riflette anche nel lavoro fotografico.
Il progetto nasce dopo un lungo viaggio attraverso gli Stati Uniti d’America verso una nuova città e una nuova casa.
Lawrence Carroll Photographs is the sixteenth exhibition held in the ex-kindergarten of Bruzella, home of the Rolla Foundation.
Philip and Rosella Rolla have been collecting Carroll’s pictorial work for years and now present his first photographic project.
Lawrence Carroll is considered a leading exponent of contemporary art. His work, often at the boundary between painting and sculpture, is pervaded by a poetic sentiment and an autobiographical imprint that is reflected in his photographic work.
The project was born after a long journey through the United States of America to a new city and a new home.
