CAMERA - Centro Italiano per la Fotografia (Italienisches Zentrum für Fotografie) präsentiert vom 18. Juli bis 29. September die Ausstellung Crack des Fotografen Jacopo Benassi. Im Großen Saal und im langen Korridor der KAMERA werden die sechzig Bilder von Crack aufgestellt, ein Projekt, das Jacopo Benassi geschaffen hat, indem er die Beziehung zwischen klassischen und zeitgenössischen Körpern und den Bindungen, die Individuen mit Menschen und Umwelt eingehen, in den Mittelpunkt seiner Reflexion stellt.
Crack - kommentiert Walter Guadagnini, Kurator der Ausstellung - ist ein Atlas des Körpers, der zwischen den Extremen des alten Plastiks und der zeitgenössischen physischen Abscheulichkeit entwickelt wurde. Das Ergebnis ist die Unterstreichung nicht nur der Dekadenz, die sowohl für den menschlichen Körper als auch für den gemeißelten Körper lauert, sondern auch und vielleicht mehr noch, der Möglichkeit, die Frakturen, die Brüche und die Faszination, die diese Elemente auch in unserer Lesart von Körper und Form annehmen, neu zu komponieren. Zu dieser Vision tragen auch die Rahmung der einzelnen Werke und die gesamte, überraschende Anordnung der Ausstellung bei, da sie integraler Bestandteil des Ausstellungsprojektes sind und die Bilder mit einer weiteren, vitalen Spannung belasten.
CAMERA – Centro Italiano per la Fotografia propone, dal 18 luglio al 29 settembre, la mostra Crack del fotografo Jacopo Benassi. Nella Sala Grande e nel lungo corridoio di CAMERA verranno allestite le sessanta immagini che compongono Crack, progetto che Jacopo Benassi ha realizzato mettendo al centro della sua riflessione il rapporto tra classicità e contemporaneità nei corpi e nei legami che gli individui instaurano con uomini e ambienti.
Crack – commenta Walter Guadagnini, curatore della mostra – è un atlante del corpo, elaborato tra gli estremi della plastica antica e della flagranza fisica contemporanea. Il risultato è la sottolineatura non solo delladecadenza in agguato tanto per il corpo umano quanto per il corpo scolpito, ma anche, e forse più, della possibilità di ricomposizione delle fratture, delle rotture e del fascino che anche questi elementi assumono nella nostra lettura del corpo e della forma. A tale visione concorrono anche l’incorniciatura delle singole opere e l’intero, sorprendente allestimento della mostra, che sono parte integrante del progetto espositivo e caricano le immagini di un’ulteriore, vitale tensione.

In the Sala Grandeand the long corridor at CAMERA the 60 images that make up Crack will be displayed,a project that Jacopo Benassi carried out around his reflection on the relationship between the classical and the contemporary bodies and links that individuals establish with people and environments. “Crack,” comments Walter Guadagnini, “is an atlas of the body, elaborated amid the extremes of ancient and contemporary plastic physical flagrance.”The result is the underlining not only of the effects of decadence lying in wait for the human body just as much as for the sculpted one, but perhaps even more so of the scope for the recomposition of fractures, breakage and the charm that even these elements may take on in our reading of the body and the form. This outlook is also underlined by the framing of the single works and the whole, surprising display of the exhibition, which are an integral part of the exhibition project and endow the images with a further vital tension.
